Gold Bond Friction Defense was the real MVP 🥇

6 months ago I was struggling through 5ks, and this weekend I completed my first half marathon. Training was mentally and physically tough at times but ultimately a gift that I gave myself. The best part was sharing the celebration with so many of my friends and family who showed up to support without me even asking, and the virtual love from everyone who couldn’t be there 🥹 what a day

Our Maylee girl 🤍🪽 Part dog, part fox, part Clydesdale, and we’re pretty sure part chupacabra.

She loved going for walks and seeing other dogs, she loved her sisters Jamie and Cali, she loved cuddling with her stuffed animals especially Stitch and Pooh, she loved sleeping over at Grandma’s house with Penny and sitting by all of our friends like she was the HBIC.

Maylee got a new lease on life in late 2019/early 2020 when she survived canine encephalitis and then a severe internal bleed. She wasn’t supposed to make it through the night but our girl was a fighter.

She lived another 5 extra years, and in those years she traveled all over with us. She saw Savannah multiple times and loved the “bacon window” in Forsyth Park and all of her friends down there. She saw 2 Great Lakes, beaches in Delaware, parks all over the place and loved family hotel stays (except the elevator part LOL)

I always said that I would be happy with whatever time we got with her, but here we are and 9 years was not enough. I’m so sorry you had such a tough go of it and that you got sick so many times, it’s just not fair. We tried to give you the best and longest life we could. We will love you and miss you forever. Thank you for being the best girl and best sister who knew all the rules. We love you so so much, May May 🫶🏻🪽🤍💔 by @kay_bel
