✨ Hope’s Surgery Update ✨

We’re relieved and grateful for all the prayers, love, good energy, and well wishes that, along with the treatment, worked a miracle. The tumor ended up shrinking to half its size, which enabled the doctors to remove it with fairly good margins. Both lymph nodes were successfully removed with no complications.

Hope came through anesthesia fine and is staying overnight to recover. She’ll come home with a bandage and some special stitches that will help her heal.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital in Culver City and especially to Dr. Kim Carey, DVM, for performing the surgery with such skill and compassion.

I’m truly speechless, overwhelmed, and filled with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has kept Hope in your hearts — it means more than I can say. 💛🐾🙏 by @kay_natalia

🌸 Giving Hope Her Flowers 🌸

Today we gave Hope her flowers — not just for this moment, but for everything she has been to us.

Hope is facing her toughest challenge: a mast cell tumor, which is a type of cancer, in her leg complicated by her inflamed spinal arthritis. On Monday she goes into surgery to remove the tumor along with her lymph nodes.

She’s my KPA dog, the one who stood by my side through multiple certifications, riding shotgun through every up and down, every single day. She’s been with us long before I ever called myself a trainer, and she’s taught us more about loyalty, patience, and love than we could ever explain.

We’re holding on to faith and to the good days still ahead. We would deeply appreciate any and all prayers, good vibes, and well wishes for Hope as she goes into surgery on Monday. 💛🐾
