I wrote this a while ago, came back to it and felt it was right to keep the ending as is. Now looking at it, I feel like I was in a position of capturing a feeling of seeking acceptance with an on-edge curiosity behind some natural presented choices. It left me with one question I guess, is our freedom threw choices or is our freedom threw our focus ?

PPL LIE but SIGNS rarely do “WKC”

My fire of passion to create came from continuous attacks of arsenal against my place called home. My main skill left was hiding the tragedy, & becoming some sort of firefighter for the others. Giving my soul to fuel, fire of others who won’t for themselves. For years, what was called beneficial for others was remaining my exposure to old wounds & I was praised for it. My fire was unlit, Sabotaged, & left open for attacks by hunters to capture my flame for their own glory. This month I got baptized. This month I planned my funeral, without a meal or even a fire to cook with. Was done surviving & abandoned my will to even help myself. I didn’t want to, after experiencing so many hungry wolves & thieving hunters in the only place I liked to be.
This place was my creativity. The more I walked down a road of self destruction, I ran into signs that called my name. Undeniably, I was alone on this road.
(It’s as if they were meant for me only.)
I learned the hard way
this place of creation IS MY home. Not simply a hotel or restaurant I visit in good times.
No wonder, without a home we have no compass.
I was never meant to be a firefighter or a nurse like they are or like they wanted.
I was born in this wilderness, and survived alone. Now I believe those who are like me, will do the same without me. I’m grateful for my years of service but I announce my retirement for all eyes to see. Something’s we can change, but something’s are just written in the signs.

This is ur message to kill death and save yourself.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIGNS.
REMEMBER what it took to get here & savagely keep that for yourself because they are just wolves or sheep’s after all.

alone in the city again. nothing but lights and people to distract me. I would say I miss it, but it’s never been enough to get past the unsettled lump in my throat. Exposure to familiar places seem to root memories that aren’t reliable to me anymore. Keeps me remembering a time where I thought forever would exist. Things change so fast.
