I can’t believe it took me this long to finally board a cruise ship! 🛳️ @royalcaribbean #wonderoftheseas was a great first experience. I can’t wait to book another one. There’s something so peaceful about the ocean and I still can’t get over how deep blue the water was in the Atlantic Ocean. Dad, I partly did this for you and your love of (sail)boats. But I will say I wasn’t “tired of this boat”! I could have stayed on another few days.

My dad’s love of sailboats. A poem I found that is so fitting for today - what would have been his 91st birthday. Miss you and love you so!

I am a Part of the Sea

I am a part of the big and beautiul ocean.
The waves and the tides,
true life in motion.
My soul is in the ever-changing seas,
I am part of the mist that blows in the breeze.
I am in the calm,
I am part of the storm.
I am in the sun-rays.
so golden and warm.
I am all around you,
I am still here,
when you feel alone,
please know I am near.
Love is eternal.
a light that’s not gone.
In the stillness you’ll hear me.

It’s the queen’s 13th birthday! We love her so very much and are lucky that she’s graced us with her presence. Amazing how much she teaches us to show love unconditionally. Whether her giving us that stare that reaches our soul, the intentional moving of her paw that means “keep rubbing”, or the little patter of her tail hitting whatever is in the way — all without saying a word, showing us she loves us. Each day is a gift that we get to love on you, Chlo, Chlo bug! Isn’t she the sweetest?! by @kaycha

I never thought I would say this because I normally don’t order burgers — but BEST SMASHBURGER EVER! Even got it all the way! And don’t get me started on the delicious conclusion of the most light and fluffy banana pudding, YUM! Trust me - GO TO @eatbaddies_gainesville !! by @kaycha
