To my mother, thank you for being my biggest supporter from the day I was born. You made me believe I could fly lol. I can’t imagine life without you, especially at a point in time when it was just me and you. I look at you and pray that I am half of the mother that you’ve been to me. In every lifetime, I choose you to be my mother. Thank you for all that you do for Niles & I

And to my fiancé, thank you for filling my cup when I was empty, running on little to no energy. Thank you for speaking confidence into even the littlest doubts. Thank you for listening and knowing what I needed without me even asking. Thank you for giving me flowers, literally and figuratively. Thank you for the times I was up all night studying and you took over for Niles without asking, putting him to sleep and then coming back to study with me all night or proofreading papers as I typed them. I fell in love with this journey because of you.

Niles, my champion, the moment you were in my womb, I knew I wouldn’t just die for you, but I’d live and be the best woman I could be for you. There was no one and nothing that could ever stop me from being just that, not even myself. You are every part of me and everything that I imagined you to be and more. I thought being a single mother was the end of my love story..…. But God had other plans. “The promise has a process and the only thing you have to do is survive the process. The enemy will make you believe the process is where you lose BUT God will meet you right in the process & give you more than you can imagine in that same process.” Thank you for bringing someone that not only loves me but loves US.
