Our Heavenly Father is kind, loving, caring, accepting, and forgiving. This past week at UTC is one that I will never forget. I learned so much; He gives me the strength to do everything. Know that you are never alone and that God is always with you, even when you don’t think He is. He protects and satisfies me. I am enough, and He is my Why (I belong to Him). I proclaim that I Am a Child of God, and there is nothing I desire more than Christ. I can now be free, knowing that He is WITH me.

As an athlete, I often look to my sport to validate my existence and my worthiness; however, this week I learned that that isn’t true. Our Father just wants ME/US (He loves us all). Our worth isn’t found in our performance and what others think about us, but rather in what God says about us... we are significant.

9 months of ACL and meniscus rehab. Not what I had envisioned, especially for my third knee surgery. This journey tested me physically, mentally, and spiritually, but God met me on every day. God’s word anchored me when my body couldn’t! To anyone fighting through something challenging - The things you wish were most removed from your life are often the very things that God is using to shape you and make you into the believer you are!
