postcards from dolomiti 📸🇮🇹🏔️

psalms 121 was on repeat in my head all week & as i look back on these photos.

what a gift it is to know the God who created this.

and this.

and this.

and that he wants to know me.

i felt so overwhelmed with the love of God as i snapped each of these photos.

"i lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?

my help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip — He who watches over you will not slumber

the Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

the Lord will keep you from all harm — He will watch over your life.

the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

— psalms 121:1-8 (a song of ascents)

JESUS OVER ALL!! :)

i consider myself truly blessed to have never known a life without Jesus. He has always been a constant, even when i am not & when nothing else is. this moment truly was a quarter of a century in the making. what was i waiting for? i don't really know. but i do know that getting baptized in this moment, with these people, in a place where i have always felt close to Him was special & intentional.

He really said not just once, but twice, & swept us with another wave. TYJ for always being there, sweeping us with your love (& the waves), & for making all things new !!! 🌊🕊️☀️ taken in Isle of Palms, South Carolina by @kaylagmiller
