I’ve realized recently that even though I may not be as in shape as I’d like to be, but I’m at a place where I’m ok with my body most days. I don’t feel the need to satisfy others in how I look or dress. The only person I aim to please with how I look is myself. I love myself and the skin I’m in. Today, I embrace my body for what it is today and I tell her I love her. I hope everyone else gets to that place of self-love and worth, as well. Because my goodness, a woman —or anyone other than a cis man — who loves and embraces their body and stops striving to reach an unachievable standard set forth as an ever changing, patriarchal construct is a beautifully dangerous thing. #selflove #dangerouswoman #dangerousenbiestoo #loveyourself by @kaylee.the.alien
