I think its time for a little re introduction! For those who just started following me! I'm Kaylee! Owner of Kaylee's Canvas I've been behind a camera since graduating high school but what started as photographing live music and local bands eventually grew into a passion for weddings, business branding photography and more!At the same time, makeup has always been part of my life. In high school, I was the girl doing everyone's prom makeup, but it wasn't until the last year and a half that I decided to turn that passion into a professional service. Today, I love helping clients look and feel their best before stepping in front of my camera.One of my favorite things is combining my makeup services and photography into a one stop shop experience! Whether you're a business owner needing fresh content, a bride preparing for your big day, or someone simply wanting to celebrate a milestone, I can help take the stress out of the process by offering both services under one roof.Before taking the leap into full time business ownership, I spent five years as an ironworker. That career helped me build the financial foundation to start and grow my business, and I'm incredibly grateful for everything it taught me about hard work, dedication, and perseverance.Today, you'll find me at my studio in House Springs, Missouri, right off Highway 30 and traveling around doing what I love most. Welcome to part 1 the Album series! 💙I had an idea to take album covers and expand on the creative concepts of them with photoshoots and makeup! The idea came to me, of course in the car while I was jammin' to Evanescence. So here we are! This is the perfect series to show you guys my love for music and photography! This shoot definitely challenged my editing skills and got me out of my comfort zone with over exposure. It reminds me that art is subjective and sometimes the rules of photography can be broken to create art. The last photo is the album cover I attempted to mimic. Not only do I love every song on this album but the art makes it so much better the way it grabs attention to the eye is just chefs kiss!
