Last week we visited local homeowner, Laurie, who hired @stratacoating to revamp the exterior of her mother’s original house, built in 1936.

After 90 years of life in this home, Strata came in and restored the entire exterior completely. Now, it’s ready to be passed onto the next generation.

There’s one thing about starting a business that surprised me, and it’s the support and relationships you’ll find in local entrepreneurship (if you’re willing to put yourself out there)

@foliangel and I got to catch up recently, and really just explored the conversation of how important it is to continuously practice connecting and collaborating with other like minded individuals

I’ve been asked so many times how Inthestateof, the Cameras & Coffee series, and all of it came to be. As someone who’s been in community development professionally, and personally, I genuinely want to inspire and encourage you.

If there is an experience or space that you’re looking for, and it’s non-existent, I challenge you to try and create it yourself! As intimidating it may seem to some, take a step back and ask yourself the real questions.

If meeting and nurturing new relationships is the goal, it’s not about volume anymore. It’s about depth and intention: The depth in relationship building, and the intention to connect and be in the moment with every person you meet.

Stay tuned (because we’re tapping into more intentional events and experiences this summer <3)

A peak into quiet luxury living with Gigi & Duy.

We recently got the opportunity to photograph Gigi & Duy’s beautiful custom home, for an upcoming magazine feature. A full custom build-out by @logrenovation, and a complete design by @dhestates with @lauriechriestinteriordesign.

This month I had the privilege of capturing the incredible team and story behind @studio45. Studio 45 is a women-founded Lagree studio offering small group sessions across Washington and Oregon. This Saturday, August 2nd, they’re celebrating an amazing milestone — the grand opening of their fifth studio in Lake Oswego, OR!

Thank you to all the amazing ladies for the opportunity to work alongside such a talented, professional group of women, passionate about empowering other women through fitness and community. The energy, support, and drive within this team is truly inspiring!

@smallhall23 + @bethgmg, congratulations on the expansion and all the success so far. You’ve built not only a thriving fitness business but also a powerful community for women. I can’t wait to keep cheering you all on!

Patiently working for CC05… 🙇🏻‍♀️

When we hosted the first Cameras & Coffee, we did it for the love of cameras and photography.

The second one was for the community. The amount of people who came back, but the amount of new faces???

I began to realize that these events weren’t just serving a bigger purpose in general, but also for my wellness.

As a huge mental health advocate for myself, and the community, CC has only been a light in my life.

Simply reminding me that there’s more to life outside of work, school, or whatever lifestyle you’re living.

Thank you for riding out this journey with @inthestateof, and cannot wait to see you (again) next Saturday :)
