18. 😭 My baby is EIGHTEEN.

One minute I was holding you in my arms, staring at you and almost afraid to blink because I couldn’t believe you were really here… and somehow that tiny baby is now an 18-year-old MAN. And I’m just supposed to be okay with that?! 😭

My firstborn. The one who made me a mom. The one I grew up right alongside. You have been there through nearly every version of me and getting to watch every version of YOU has been one of the greatest privileges of my life!

I am so incredibly proud of the young man you’ve become and I cannot wait to see where life takes you next. Although for the record, I’d be perfectly fine if time could slow WAY down now 🥹

I love you more than you’ll ever know, kid! To the moon and back, forever and ever. 💙

Another pretty cool senior-year moment for Skyler! He was invited by a recruiter to attend the Western Michigan game yesterday, so he and Phil spent the day at Waldo Stadium watching the Broncos! 🐴🏈

Senior Sunday 🖤💚

Before the Friday night lights, before the senior pictures, before I was counting down the lasts… there was just this little boy making silly faces for the camera with his mama 🥹

I swear I blinked and somehow that little face turned into an almost 18-year-old senior.

There are some pictures you look at and can almost step right back into the moment. I can still see the little boy in him even as I watch him becoming the man he’s meant to be😭

Senior year is beautiful and absolutely RUDE at the same time 😭😂
