Went from 0 art shows to 3 in one year?!?! I would’ve never imaged myself taking risks stepping out with my work. Showing my art has been something I really prayed about, I wasn’t really sure if it was meant for me to do. It was never about making money. It’s always been about creating. Creating has always been healing for me, an escape from the craziness of my life .

I love that my art has allowed me to connect with people and share parts of myself through my work. It’s so cool that people are curious about my process and the deeper meanings behind my work.

I’m so grateful for everyone who has shown up, supported me, and poured love into what I create. I’m not used to that, and it’s brought me to tears more times than I can count this year..

Sometimes I sit and think about how blessed I am to receive the gift of creativity. I truly feel like my creativity will never dry up. I truly get inspired by something/someone everyday. And it’s like I’m just getting started. 🦋✨.

Actually took me 100 days and 100 nights to finish this😭 but we’ve made I’ve learned so much!! I’ve never painted 3 people in one painting and with this range of skin tones, was a little challenging . But i do think this is the best blending with color I’ve had this far 🤏🏼🙂‍↔️ by @kazy_artwork

Fun fact: I love to add a little black to deepen color when people say not to. 😭😭🤷🏼‍♀️ But for this sweatshirt I did not use black and tried my best to use blue and browns for the darker shades. I think it’s turning out pretty good 😌
