I’m okay- thank you to those who checked on me and offered support. It’s crazy how you can be so passionate about this sport and give it your all but not receive the same love back. The fight game is cutthroat & unforgiving; anything can change in an instant.
Had a great camp, felt sharper and stronger than ever, had a good shakeout and felt great warming up. Got caught and recovered but ref called the fight off after I got up. While we don’t agree with the call, there’s nothing I can do to go back and change anything. Just extremely disappointed I didn’t get to showcase anything and how much I’ve leveled up. Wanted to put on a good fight so I’m sorry to those I’ve let down. Thank you to everyone who messaged good luck and sent well wishes. And to those who checked on me after the fight—I appreciate you so, so much.

Huge thank you to my coaches/team/fam at Fagliers mma aka Faglier Bros MMA) for everything. Couldn’t ask for a better group of people to be surrounded by. L

It’s about mindset. I have to train vs I get to train.

Don’t take it for granted—look at it as an opportunity or privilege rather than a chore or obligation. There’s someone out there who would kill to train, fight, run, or even walk or complete ADLs independently. Be grateful for the opportunity you have to train and for a body that allows you to train 🥊
