had absolutely no idea what was ahead of him.

Just a little boy dancing in the rain, doing what he loved without overthinking it.

Sometimes I look back at these moments, and remind myself, that before the stages, the auditions, the hard work and the big dreams…

there was just a kid who loved to perform. 🫶

I hope I never lose that feeling. The freedom, the joy, and the love for it all. 🫶

A little throwback to where it all began. ✨

RISE - Season 3 for me. ✨

This one felt different.

After experiencing RISE in Syd + Melb, I received the opportunity to do the Australian tour of MJ the Musical for almost 19 months. Coming back into an intense performance environment was a bigger adjustment than I expected.

The first few days were hard. I pulled back and isolated myself while trying to find my place again.

Then, Jackie reminded me that RISE was my safe space, a place where I could feel alive and like myself again.

She makes every artist feel seen, heard, valued and believed in. She isn’t simply the Director of RISE, she pours into you as an artist and as a person, which optimises your performance.

And this, this is where I found my people. Genuine friendships with talented, humble artists who made me feel at home, let me be myself and, most importantly… have FUN again.

Then came show night. Two full shows in one night. Six days of hard work, resilience and growth came to life on stage.

A huge thank you to Shaw and Partners for believing in RISE, its vision and the mental wellbeing of young artists. Without your support, I couldn’t have been part of this experience. 🤍

Thank you Studio 7 Dancewear for helping bring the Cabaret experience to life with your incredible costumes.

Erin, thank you for capturing our journey so perfectly and making everyone feel like they were there with us. 📸

To our Dance & MT Captains, choreographers and mentors, thank you for guiding and believing in us. 🫶

To my MJ brothers Blaiyze and Charlie, thank you for coming to support me, and to your parents for making it happen. It meant so much. 🤍

To my siblings, thank you for coming along for the ride and supporting me, even when it meant missing out on some big adventures while I worked hard. 🙏🫶

And Jackie… thank you for reminding me that I didn’t have to be anything other than myself.

I walked away feeling proud, confident, connected, happy and alive.

After 3 seasons, I understand what RISE is really about:-

Empowering young people. Building resilience. Protecting self-worth. Supporting mental wellbeing. And creating a space where young artists can grow without losing who the taken in Australian Chamber Orchestra by @kboyzii

Sometimes…
people only see the opportunities.

The stages.
The performances.
The credits.
The moments that make it look like everything is happening.

But they don’t see the auditions I didn’t get.
The opportunities that didn’t work out.
The times I’ve questioned myself.
Or how hard I can be on myself when I know I could have done better.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, and I never want to take them for granted.

But I’m also still growing.

Still learning how to handle the highs, and the lows.
Still learning how to take rejection.
Still learning how much my environment can affect me.
Still figuring out who I am as an artist and as a person.

I think sometimes people see a young performer and forget there’s a real person behind the performance.

I’m not finished.
I’m not supposed to have it all figured out.

I’m just going to keep showing up, keep learning, keep working and keep becoming. 💪🏽

Today I take my final bow as Little Marlon for the Australian tour of @mjthemusicalau 🥹 A bow that will symbolise an indescribable and immeasurable experience granted by @michaelcasselgroup 🙏 This journey, which commenced in Jan 2025, has been life changing. Throughout each city, I’ve had the opportunity to learn, grow, develop, and enhance so many skill sets both personally and professionally.💪🏽

To the creative and management team, thank you for believing in me and providing me with a safe space and positive environment where I felt nurtured and welcomed trusting the process. Officially a T E E N A G E R 💪🏽 Well as of 9️⃣ j u n e.

Praises be to Our Father for blessing me with another year around the sun ☀️

Thank you to all who shared in this special milestone with my family and I here in 📍 Perth.

With 4 of us sharing birthdays in 1️⃣ week (including mum who shares the same day as I) it’s a pretty crazy week of celebrations but the best week of the year! 🎉

The pre birthday celebrations with @zipclimbperth was an unforgettable experience and there’s another special adventure to come (+ my first gaming PC waiting at home).🫰🏼

Grateful for another year and praying I see many more. 🙏
