I’m back ✌️😎
And Midnight Train to Hope returns with me.

This track was built for rising–fire horse, phoenix, dawn sky, forward motion.
A reminder that growth is messy, determined, flawed, and full of light.

I’ve been travelling on that train again… writing the next chapter.
Just because we finished the trip once doesn’t mean we don’t need to take it again.
Sometimes the second round reveals more than the first.

I’ve been away working on a few important things–I’ll talk more about that soon.
But for now, I wanted to share this track again because it’s finally on Spotify.
You can find the link in my bio if you’d like to hear the full story.

What have you been up to or working on while I’ve been away?
By the way, still going through older notifications. I will attend to them soon. Thank you for leaving your sincere comment upon my pending departure from here.
I hope you have been doing well 🙏🏻♥️

🔊ON…Book Anniversary x2 📖🚜👨‍🌾
🎉This month marks two years since my book babies were published.
📖x2 versions for different age groups.
🧸X2 related reasons why teddy bear characters: Teddy bears are known to provide children comfort. Farmers produce food for our tables which brings us comfort.
🌽🥕Without farmers, we wouldn’t have food on our tables.
📆x2 key dates for farmer awareness this month.
* 🇺🇸United States: April is recognized for various food-specific awareness months that support agricultural producers, such as National Garlic Month, National Soyfoods Month, and Fresh Florida Tomato Month.
* 🇬🇧United Kingdom: Local organisations often hold Rural Mental Health Awareness workshops specifically for the farming community during April (e.g., We Are Farming Minds).
👏🏆Big kudos to our farmers for all they do. Please drop a tractor emoji or GIF in comments to show your support for our farmers➡️🚜
All the animated scenes in this reel are some of the actual illustrations in my books.
😊I hope this video made you smile today!
🙏🏻♥️Wishing you a great day!

This book I dearly hold close to my heart, and this post is for its anniversary: My debut novel, Kirakee’s Wolf Pack: Howl Upon the Moon-my first ever attempt at writing something bigger than an article or a children’s book.

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I published this novel 🥹. And although the published date changed a few times because of revisions 😫 this post marks the approximate birth… which I’m honestly not sure which month it was, because of all the revisions that took place in each format-eBook, hardcover, paperback 🫣

Nowadays, I’m creating jewellery and gift packs that revolve around my book concept. I’ve included a few products in this post:
• The very first book review received for this book, even before the revisions took place 🥂
. The human vs wolf comparison
• About me 😌 (author)
• A video with some scenes from my book.

Big kudos to all the awesome authors who consistently publish novels 🏆

If you’re interested in reading more, I’ve included more about the purpose of the book in the comments section and other content in the carousel. Please swipe through ➡️

I hope you have a wonderful day.
Take care and stay safe 🙏🏻♥️😘

Happy book birthday anniversary 🎉🍰📖
This children’s story was inspired by a real-life moment and now it involves my kitty cat–Missy Boo, a dog, and a robot dog 🐈‍⬛🐶🤖
Swipe through ➡️ for a few videos with life like animation of scenes, the inspiration behind the story, and the gift packages that came from it.

There are also some lovely shares from readers and followers.
Thank you so much for the love and support. It always means the world to me ♥️

Most of my books come from nature, personal experiences, or social topics connected to the human condition–things that encourage compassion, curiosity, and gentle reflection.
Even though this story started from a different place, I still found myself naturally weaving those themes in. That’s always been the heart of my work, no matter the style or subject.

It was a fun story to write (conversations written in rhyme), and it made me laugh quite a few times because I managed to include some of my own silly humour 🤠

My biggest joy was creating the illustrations. Many include my pencil drawings blended into mixed‑medium artwork.

I’m not sure when I’ll finish my next book. Time is pretty limited these days. I have about half of the illustrations complete and only an outline of the story. Hopefully another burst of inspiration will help me carry it through.

Do you have a cat or dog fur‑baby?
Are you working on any writing projects at the moment?
What’s your favourite animal story?
What animal story has inspired you the most?

What inspires my stories and artwork is simple-the quiet conversation between nature, light, and life.
This reel is a small piece of that connection, carried through images.

Which moment speaks to you most-the pull of celestial light, the rhythm of the ocean, the rush of waterfalls, or the stillness of nature around you?

Book Review: Broken Petals by Tasha Hutchison
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A moving, hopeful story about resilience, love, and living fully in the shadow of Huntington’s disease.

Brooklyn Monti has spent years letting her Huntington’s disease diagnosis shape the limits of her life. When love, friendship, and the possibility of a family begin to pull her toward hope, she must decide whether fear will define her future—or whether she is brave enough to truly live.

Broken Petals surprised me in the best way. I expected a heavy, sorrowful read, but instead found a tender and often uplifting women’s fiction story filled with humour and heart. While the novel doesn’t shy away from illness, uncertainty, secrets, and difficult choices, its focus remains on hope, connection, and the courage it takes to accept support.

Brooklyn’s friendship with her bestie Iris feels authentic and relatable, the kind of bond where a friend becomes more like family. The relationships Brooklyn shares with her family, especially her estranged biological father, and her strong circle of women gives the story emotional depth. The romance is also beautifully handled, offering Brooklyn a renewed belief in love while still allowing room for her fears and self-sabotage. Without giving away the ending, the novel leaves readers wanting to know whether Brooklyn can step out from beneath the weight of her diagnosis and choose happiness.

I recommend Broken Petals to readers who enjoy women’s fiction, romance, and stories that find beauty and strength in impossible circumstances.

Note: the beautiful song accompanying my book review is From Ashes We Rise by @kc_morcom 🎶❤️

QOTD: Do you enjoy reading romance stories? Have you held back personal information in a relationship because you were worried about being judged? Do you have a strong support circle?

Hey lovelies 👋 I’m slipping away from here for a few weeks while I invest in another form of marketing (mailbox drop) with a little package of mementos 💌📪

I’ve reached a dead end with IG marketing. My page still has wrinkles I haven’t been able to iron out. I recently cleaned up my followers list—removing ghost/inactive accounts, bots, and odd profiles. Found one inactive account from 2014 🤯
So far I’ve removed around 1700 accounts 😵‍💫

The purpose of this was to lighten my account for the sake of my business. Too many inactive or bot accounts can create an unhealthy imbalance and block posts from reaching active people. While cleaning up, I’ve been following back the active accounts I find, and will continue when I go through the list again. But even with all that effort, nothing improved. Posting more didn’t help either—views dropped instead 😂😭

Sometimes when something takes more than it gives, stepping away to revive is best. So a break is needed 🛬✈️

While away, I’ll be working on new cover designs for The Bird Whispers and The Bird Whisperer — more razzle dazzle coming 🦆🦜🦢📖

There’s up to 40% off on my Redbubble shop (Aug 10–17) and 20–30% off selected products on my website, KCM Gifts4You 🛍️🏷️
Swipe through to see everything ➡️

A few more music tracks will also be going into distribution soon — Spotify will be the first place to find them 🎧🎶
