Patches are a temporary fix. The goal is to get the roads safe for travel. The process of reporting potholes to 311 and getting the roads repaired takes time. Sometimes that same week, others 3-4 weeks later. Don’t get discouraged, your efforts are making a difference. Let’s keep reporting potholes as a community. Use this as an opportunity to get to know your neighbors. Let’s be the unity in our community. #FixBaltimore by @kc_x2

We plant flowers in potholes to raise awareness, without vandalizing the roads. Remember the roads are not our property so we must report the problem to our elected officials. By having multiple members of the same community report the same potholes gets the city officials moving faster than you doing it by yourself. This is just the first step of empowering the people. Learn more ways to hold your local politicians accountable. It takes more than one phone call, so please be patient. I suggest you call 4 times a day for 5 days in a row. Show them you mean business and you demand change. Our politicians have gotten too comfortable sitting on our tax dollars. We still need to do our part in our communities so shovel your walk way, pick up litter, and get to know your neighbors. My message is always power to the people, because we the people have the power.

Stop tagging the mayor and dial 311
It’s our constitutional right to have roads safe for travel. Our tax dollars have already been paid, but not directed. By dialing 311 and reporting the potholes you direct our tax dollars.
