One of life’s most tender feelings is still rooting for someone from a distance. 🌅

Following the Artemis II mission created so much curiosity and (moon) joy for me, along with a little more hope for humanity than I’ve been carrying lately.

Really grateful for the crew and the people doing this work - thank you for the awe and the hope. 🌕 by @kcavcreates

Project Hail Mary…Rocky…I love you. 🌌

I didn’t expect to get this attached to a little alien engineer, but here we are. There’s just something about a story that insists on goodness, even in the face of extinction.

Staying silent only strengthens systems that harm us.

ADHD during the holidays can turn the volume way up. More noise, more movement, more feelings, more everything.

This illustration came from learning that I need pockets of quiet to reset, even when seeking that space out can feel uncomfortable at first. Learning to honor that need is part of showing up, for others and for myself.

615,000 Coloradans - half of them children - will lose access to SNAP benefits starting Nov. 1. These aren’t just numbers; they’re our neighbors.

Local food banks are bracing for a surge in demand just as funding cuts are hitting, leaving fewer resources when they’re needed most.

Consider donating to your local food bank or finding other ways to help those who can’t easily access one — whether due to disability, lack of transportation, or other barriers.

Give what you can and look out for one another. taken in Denver, Colorado by @kcavcreates

Stronger not because of what you’ve endured - but in spite of it. 🪶
The Crested Caracara is a tropical falcon with a hollow, rattling call that sounds like running a stick along a fence. I first saw them in Costa Rica, but they range from the Amazon River basin to central Florida.

And other questions unanswered by grief. ➰
It was hard to get back to art after loss. Trying something new with this watercolor paper cut helped me find the thread and I’m excited to make more.
