What happens to a rhyme deferred? “If I can no longer have music to feed my soul I’d rather be dead” This was one of the lines that stood out to me in this play. It was the Passion and dedication these characters had to hip-hop. it reminded me why every day I go out to chase my dreams, but it also reminded me to remember my “WHY”. Some people do this just so they can see their name in big lights and though that isn’t a bad thing nothing in this life is worth your soul, your morals, and your dignity. I think I need to be reminded of that as I go forward and I thank God for bringing me into this play with this cast. Not only did we honor the late @chadwickboseman we honored his family @therealaaronreeseboseman and I can’t thank Arron enough for seeing the potential in Me. I have a lot of things to work on as a man, but he believed in me and I can never forget that. Thank you to this cast and to @pulsetheatrechicago for having me.
