The first song I made for the EP, literally fuckin around in GB, made something beautiful. I’ve been told this instrumental feels like being free. I like that a lot, aligns with the themes I have planned very well. Also, I shouldn’t get too caught up on themes. It’s just an EP about the Internet or something idk

“Don’t tell me you don’t feel like a god”

I need a new name for this EP. It used to be “internet baby” until I noticed pinkpantheress used it first. First iconick, now internet baby. I might name it after myself, but idk. I need internet somewhere in there, that’s one of the central focuses. Idk but I like to get weird. Idc if it’s palatable, this is for me.

I added a video to keep it from defaulting to a reel, reels lose audio after a certain time.

I wrote this song within a week back in 2022.

I have just now gained the courage to attempt to sing the chorus. First try, too. I liked how it turned out.

There’s still so much to do before this song is a reality, so much…

AIR - 🌟

This demo has carried so much meaning over the months. I don’t think I could ever describe it how it makes me feel, it makes me feel too much. I’ve tried writing lyrics, but I get caught in the wave of the melody. All I’ve been able to muster is one phrase during the chorus:

“I fly away.”

I think it sums it up perfectly.

If I could try to put a meaning on it, I’d say it’s about release, swayed by the waves and the wind, being free from everything. Letting go. It might be macabre to think about, but I believe I wrote this in my mind to die to.

This is by far my favorite thing I’ve written. And it’s not even done.

I might remove the drums by @kcindred
