POV: You’re celebrating the anniversary you almost didn’t make it to.

Happy anniversary to us. And holy shit, this one means something. ❤️

Last year, Jamie and I were separated for three months and came very close to ending our marriage. There were moments when I genuinely didn’t know whether we would find our way back.

But through finding our way back to ourselves, we ultimately found our way back to each other without even that being the intention

So today isn’t simply about celebrating another year.

It’s about celebrating where we are now and who we are both as individuals and as partners

We didn’t pretend nothing happened or try to return to exactly who we were before. We chose to know ourselves as individuals before we got to know one another again. So we could listen differently and love each other more honestly.

Through this we created a new way forward together.

There is something incredibly sacred about choosing each other again—with clearer eyes and a deeper appreciation for who you are as a person and what you almost lost.

@kcjamie , I’m so proud of us. I’m grateful for you, and I don’t take this version of us for granted.

Happy anniversary, my love.

Look at us. 🥹❤️ So many adventures and so many still to come. What we’ve been through has only prepared us to have our wildest dreams come true. Keep holding the light with me, baby. We’re almost there 🤍♾️🥹

🫶🏻 the last video clip is of us renewing our vows on Valentine’s Day this year. The crazy thing is, we didn’t even realize when we booked that cruise that they would be doing a vow renewal ceremony and so it was a very special kismet moment for us considering by @kcjamie

This was designed from the consultation forward.
❤️ Vivid red panel placement. 🖤 Hidden underlayer for surprise dimension. ✂️ Razor-cut wolf cut with rolling 90° layers to create movement and reveal the color.
Every section had a purpose, and every layer was cut to showcase the color.
I'm currently taking guests at Z Hair Academy in Kansas City.
