34 taught me that growth doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it looks like surviving, rebuilding, creating anyway, and continuing to show up even when life feels uncertain.

I think 8-year-old me would be proud that I never stopped dreaming, creating, and believing in something bigger for myself. And I think 80-year-old me would remind me to persevere, trust God more, stop doubting myself, and keep pushing because there’s still so much life left to live.

So here’s to 35.More purpose. More peace. More faith. More becoming. ✨

I love structure, but I love deconstructing it even more.

For this look, I took a cropped military-inspired jacket and layered it over a classic Brooks Brothers button-down, then added a tie from my uncle’s closet for a little personal character. Grey wide-leg trousers kept the silhouette strong and tailored, while chunky black loafers with gold accents finished it off.

Who said working means you can’t be fly?

Slaying and styling is kind of my thing. The S3 Experience at Slay Sip & Style was such a good one. I love production—the details, the moving pieces, the styling, and especially watching a vision go from an idea to a fully realized experience.

Structured. Deconstructed. Intentional. And still very much a look. ✨

Something that brought me joy today. ☺️✨

I do love a good pop-up, and @boden made their way to Charleston for the day! The colors were beautiful, the pieces were exquisite, and the ambiance was everything.

There’s just something special about shopping hospitality done with that signature Southern hospitality—and that’s what made the experience stand out for me. Beautiful clothes, beautiful details, and an experience that simply felt good.

Last but not least… a full COLOR moment. 💎

For the final look in this series, I went all the way into the jewel box—pairing the blazer with this rich blurple skirt and bronze tortoise pumps.

Royal purple. Teal. Navy. Bronze. Layered together for one straight jewel-toned moment that feels bold, feminine, and just a little unexpected.

Three looks. Three completely different energies. One piece that kept transforming every time I styled it.

And that’s officially the end of this mini series—but around here, creativity never ceases. There’s always another idea, another experiment, and another look waiting to come to life. ✨

Day 2: same statement, different energy. ✨

Yesterday was all about the drama. Today, we’re bringing her down to earth—but she’s still THAT GIRL.

I paired the blazer with a simple navy tee and jeans, then added my Bold Faith JFA denim hat and aviators for that effortless threw it on, still ate kind of energy.

The jewel-toned sleeves are already doing enough, so everything else gets to be easy. Denim. Navy. A little attitude. A lot of style.

Casual, but make it editorial. Casual, but make it chic. Casual, but never basic.

Day 2 of styling my latest fashion experiment—and proof that a statement piece doesn’t always need a statement outfit.

Just a fashion girlie experimenting. ✨

Lately, I’ve been leaning heavily into the process—refining my sewing skills, playing with structure, and seeing just how far I can push an idea.

Back in April at @slaysipstyle , I saw my friend @shaniequalwashington wearing this dynamic jacket she created, and it stayed with me. So naturally, I had to experiment.

Enter: the blazer.

Structured through the body, but the sleeves? THAT GIRL. Soft, feminine, dramatic, and full of movement in these rich jewel tones of royal purple, teal, and navy.

Then I took another oversized men’s blazer and transformed it into an overskirt that gives the effortless illusion of “I just tied my blazer around my waist”—except completely intentional.

For today’s styling, I paired the pieces with navy satin pants, a deep golden satin top, and layers of gold accessories for a little richness on richness.

And we’re not done.

This week, I’m styling this piece two more ways—once with a skirt and once with jeans. Three completely different moods. All fire.

I’ll also be sharing how I took a shirt + men’s blazers and turned them into something entirely new, because the experimentation is becoming one of my favorite parts of the process.

Consider this my fashion laboratory.

GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD.

Don’t let your mind convince you that you can’t.

A little whimsy, a little elegance, and a whole lot of joy. 💕✨

For our Emeline Hotel look, Grandma was dressed in The Tiny Tassel, surrounded by the warmth, color, and charm that made this location feel so special.

Around her neck, beautiful pink and green clay-beaded butterflies danced with every movement, paired with matching earrings that brought the entire look to life. Playful, feminine, and full of personality — just like her.

This look felt like a celebration of beauty at every age, with fashion that still knows how to have fun.
