Hey guys, I’m Tada of KCMT Sinema! I’m a writer based in Jakarta. My cinematic preferences are: old Hollywood screwball, gritty & amoral 70s cinema, and tragic contemporary films that are queer and/or make you sleep.Disclaimer: these aren’t exactly the “10 most top favorite films” these are just the ones that stay in my mind for so long. If you ask me again tomorrow maybe the answers would be wholly different. 10 films about me meaning that I contain multitudes in my taste, a.k.a. it’s like choosing my favorite newborn (and I don’t even have one). by @kcmtsinema

Hey everyone! I’m Xandega from KCMT Sinema. I’m a musician based in Jakarta who’s a little obsessed with movies. I think I first realized how deep it ran back in elementary school, when I wouldn’t answer any of my mom’s questions except “how was that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie you saw on TV last night?” (Ten-year-old me was absolutely mind-blown by Last Action Hero.)I’m always chasing that mix of sensuality and precision, the kind of filmmaking that makes your pulse quicken just from how it’s crafted.These are 10 films to get to know me, or at least the “first date” version of me. It’s a jaim list, let’s be honest. Maybe one day, when we’re closer, Roland Emmerich’s Godzilla will crawl its way in. by @kcmtsinema

Hellaur guys, gurls, and theys! I’m Yez from KCMT Sinema — just your average, run-of-the-mill project manager who, when not staring at spreadsheets and decks, somehow ends up transfixed by the world of moving pictures. To me, films are mirrors to the world around us; sometimes they reveal more than meets the eye, and sometimes they’re just downright stupid fun (and that’s okay!).These are, more or less, 10 films that describe who I am — my taste, my worldview, and everything in between. You’ll notice it’s a mix of serious, heartbreaking films and feel-good ones that feel too good, it’s borderline sci-fi! Did any of these resonate with you too?
