A lot of people think the person running the screens is just clicking buttons.

Well… we are. 😂

But ProPresenter is so much more than lyrics and scriptures.

We’re managing how graphics appear across every screen, monitoring timers, checking assets, preparing during pre-production, running the confidence monitor for the worship team, and helping create a seamless experience for everyone—both in the room and watching online.

And the reality is, live production is… live. Things can change in an instant. Even with last-minute switch-ups or the occasional mishap, the entire team covers each other to keep everything moving. That’s one of my favorite parts of serving in production—everyone is working toward the same goal. Most people never notice the work behind it, and that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be.

Also, shoutout to the creative director at Zion Cathedral @coreymcduffie_mbc for calling me in to assist. Grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such an incredible team and help bring each experience to life. 🙌🏾
