The Atlas joint. Just a little knowledge, for any and all who care to learn. #BOA #KCW #RTB by @kcw_custom_processing

This is why I love being a custom butcher I mean, I am simply over the moon with it. This is a super sweet Zabuton & a crazy marbled, good old-fashioned boneless chuck. I’m blessed with fantastic employees that love to learn and I love to teach. A huge, thank you to all of my customers I wouldn’t be where I am without you. I will truly be happy the rest of my life serving Southern California and I’m teaching the next generation so this art form/trade is never lost. See you all at Lakeside auction day. 👍🏻💪🏻🔪🇺🇸 R.T.B. by @kcw_custom_processing

Welp today I entered my first blacksmithing contest, I’ve been taking classes since the beginning of the year. ( 6 months ) I was able to take home first place for beginner blacksmith. Started with three-quarter inch sucker rod 8” and the object for beginners was to make a knife and the destructive testing was cutting a roll, cutting a slice of ham and cutting a tomato. I was able to make a knife and a fork. The time limit was 3 hours. Here’s how it turned out ……… by @kcw_custom_processing
