@waratwa_foundation | School Shoe Drive 2027

This year, Waratwa Foundation had the privilege of making a difference in the lives of children through our School Shoe Drive providing learners with school shoes and helping them step into their classrooms with confidence and dignity. ❤️

As we look ahead to 2027, we want to take this initiative even further. Our goal is to reach more learners who need a helping hand and ensure that no child has to face the school year without a proper pair of school shoes.

We are currently calling on corporates, businesses, shoe manufacturers, organisations, community members and individuals to partner with us as sponsors or donors for our 2027 School Shoe Drive.

Whether you can donate one pair of shoes, a bulk donation, funding, or other resources, your contribution can make a meaningful difference in a child's education and confidence.

🤝 Partner with Waratwa Foundation.
👟 Sponsor a pair.
🎒 Donate.
❤️ Help a child take their next step with dignity.

Together, we can turn a simple pair of school shoes into a step towards a brighter future.

Our hearts are full of gratitude. ❤️

This Mandela Day, the @waratwa_foundation and collaborators was honoured to serve over 300 homeless individuals in Pretoria by providing warm meals, free haircuts, and clothing donations. What began as a vision of giving back became a powerful reminder that when a community comes together, lives can be touched in meaningful ways.

We extend our sincere appreciation to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, barber, choir and supporter who contributed their time, resources, and kindness. Your generosity made it possible for us to restore dignity, spread hope, and put smiles on so many faces.

To everyone who donated food, clothes, money, or their valuable time, thank you. This initiative would not have been possible without you.

As we reflect on Nelson Mandela's legacy, we are reminded that true change begins with each of us. Together, we proved that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.

Here's to continuing to serve, uplift, and build stronger communities, one act of kindness at a time. 💙

Earth Day activation - what an impactful day it was!

Together with our Thrive Club members, Nedbank, and the City of Tshwane, we successfully planted 30 indigenous trees across key sites in Mamelodi, contributing to greener, healthier community spaces.

A big thank you to all the Thrive Club members who showed up, participated, and brought such great energy on the ground; your involvement is what truly makes initiatives like this meaningful.
We also really appreciate the continued partnership and support from Nedbank and the City of Tshwane in driving this shared vision of environmental sustainability and community impact.

A powerful moment of unity as community members, partners, and stakeholders come together to plant the seeds of a greener, more sustainable Mamelodi 🌱

This is just the beginning- we’re building something powerful together ✨
