Tunnel Talk with the Tigers.

After the 63–59 win over Centerville, I caught up with Titus O’Neal, Kevin Smith, and Albert Moore III.

Their message was simple:
Stay aggressive. Stay composed. Finish the game.

Now Pickerington Central is headed to the Regional Championship.

Tunnel Talk with the Tigers. 🐯

After the Regional Semifinal win, I caught up with Albert Moore III, Titus O’Neal, and Kevin Smith from Pickerington Central.

When I asked how they were feeling after the win, the answer was simple:
“Good.”

Titus kept it real when I asked about his mentality coming into the game:

“Honestly, I just wanted to get the dub. It’s been so many years since we haven’t been here.”

Albert and Kevin talked about what it takes as guards to lead the team:

Albert:
“Just come out and play aggressive.”

Kevin:
“If we win our matchups, we’re gonna win every time.”

When the game came down to the final possessions, the message in the huddle was clear:

Stay composed.
Finish possessions.
Make free throws.

And when the pressure was on, Albert Moore III stepped up and knocked down big free throws to help seal the win.

Albert on that moment:

“My teammates told me to stay composed… so I just took a deep breath and made them.”

Now the Pickerington Central Tigers are headed to the Regional Championship.

The mission continues.
