All I see is beauty…

The sky had surrendered its last light to the evening, leaving the cathedral to stand between heaven and earth like a prayer carved in stone. Beneath its ancient domes, centuries watched silently as strangers gathered, lovers lingered, and ordinary lives unfolded in the shadow of something extraordinary.
The lamps cast their golden halos against the weathered walls, illuminating the very stones that had outlived generations of footsteps, whispered confessions, desperate pleas and unanswered questions. Above them, the sky burned an impossible blue, as though the heavens had left a little of their infinity behind.
And there was something quietly humbling about it all ,how a monument could stand for centuries while the people beneath it came and went in the briefest of moments.
Perhaps that is what makes places like this beautiful. Not simply their grandeur, but the way they remind us of our smallness without making our existence feel insignificant.
For a moment, beneath those ancient domes, time seemed to hold its breath.
And the world, for all its noise and haste, remembered how to be still.

Some feelings arrive before language does.

A grief you cannot explain.
A love you are afraid to name.
A memory that keeps knocking long after the door has closed.

And then, somehow, you find a poem.

Someone has already written the sentence you spent years trying to say.

That is the quiet power of poetry.

It does not simply describe the world — it gives us a language for the parts of ourselves we could never articulate.

Perhaps that is why poems survive us.

Because long after the poet is gone, the words remain in someone else’s mouth, someone else’s heart, someone else’s story.

Poetry does not just record what we feel.
Sometimes, it teaches us how to feel it.

What is a poem you have read that made you feel seen?

Maybe that’s why poetry hurts so much.

We don’t write because we want people to think we’re deep.

We write because there are feelings we could never say out loud.

So we hide them in poems.

The heartbreak.
The loneliness.
The person we still miss.
The nights we cried without telling anyone.
The version of ourselves we lost trying to be enough for someone else.

And somewhere, a stranger reads our words at 2 a.m. with tears in their eyes…

because somehow, the words we wrote in our loneliness became the words they needed in theirs.

They don’t know us.

We don’t know them.

But for a moment, two lonely hearts meet between the lines.

And maybe that’s the most beautiful thing about poetry.

We don’t write to impress people.

We write so someone, somewhere, can finally whisper:

ā€œI thought I was the only one.ā€

And then…

ā€œMe too.ā€ šŸ„€

Some chapters don’t end because you stopped caring.
They end because you needed time to find yourself again. 🄹

And sometimes, the words disappear for a while because your heart is trying to heal before it can speak.

But I’m back. āœšŸ¾
Back to the page.
Back to the feelings.
Back to the words I once thought I’d lost.

Maybe I didn’t stop being a writer. Maybe I just needed something worth writing about. šŸ¤

There are seasons in life when everything familiar begins to shift-when plans unravel, hearts grow weary, and the weight of uncertainty feels too heavy to carry. Psalm 46 reminds us that faith is not the absence of chaos, but the confidence that we do not face it alone.

Even when the earth gives way beneath our feet and the mountains fall into the sea, God remains unchanged: our refuge in the storm, our strength in weakness, and our constant help in times of trouble.

We live in a world that teaches us to rely on our own strength, yet some battles are too great for human hands. In those moments, this verse offers something deeper than comfort-it offers hope. A reminder that when fear rises, God stands firm. When our hearts are restless, He is our peace. And when darkness surrounds us, His presence becomes our shelter.

No storm lasts forever, and no burden is carried unnoticed. The One who holds the oceans and the mountains also holds your life in His hands.

Hold on. Trust Him. Even in the chaos, He is still your refuge

The world teaches us to worship strength, to hide our wounds beneath polished smiles and call our suffering resilience. Yet heaven speaks a gentler language. It whispers that there is holiness in our frailty, and that the soul need not be unbroken to be worthy of love.

We spend our lives fearing the cracks within us, unaware that light has always entered through broken places. For when our own strength abandons us, grace remains-steady as the dawn, patient as the stars, carrying what weary hands can no longer hold.

There is a mystery woven into weakness: that the moments which humble us most are often the moments that draw us closest to the divine. The burden that bends our backs, the tears shed in silent rooms, the battles fought in unseen places-none of them are wasted. For God does not wait for us at the summit of perfection; He walks beside us in the valley, transforming our sorrow into testimony and our weakness into strength.

And perhaps that is the great paradox of faith: that we are never more powerful than when we finally admit that we cannot stand alone.

YOU DON’T KNOW LOVE - UNTIL YOU KNOW GODS LOVE

We have mistaken love for a feeling when Scripture reveals it as a way of being.

The world teaches that love is measured by butterflies, convenience, attraction, or what someone can offer in return. It tells us that love is fleeting—something to pursue while it feels good and to abandon when it becomes costly.

But the wisdom of God tells a different story.

Before love was ever spoken between two people, it was first revealed through the character of God.

ā€œI have loved you with an everlasting love.ā€ (Jeremiah 31:3)

Love is not impatient. It does not manipulate. It does not demand perfection before it gives grace. It does not keep score. It does not seek power over another. It does not abandon truth for comfort, nor comfort for truth.

True love is faithful when circumstances change.
It is merciful when pride demands revenge.
It chooses forgiveness over bitterness.
It protects the vulnerable.
It walks in humility.
It pursues justice.
It remains steadfast when the world celebrates selfishness.

The greatest tragedy of our generation may not be that love has disappeared, but that we have redefined it until it resembles desire more than devotion, possession more than sacrifice, and approval more than truth.

We have become a society that says ā€œlove is love,ā€ yet too often forgets that love without integrity becomes compromise, love without mercy becomes legalism, and love without truth becomes deception.

God never intended love to be reduced to an emotion. He revealed it as a reflection of His own nature—steadfast, holy, compassionate, faithful, and everlasting.

Perhaps the question is not whether we are loved.

The question is whether our lives reflect the kind of love that heaven calls true.

Because when love is rooted in God’s wisdom, it does more than make us feel alive.

It transforms the way we live.

A JUST world was created, so a JUST world should remain.

We were not created for a world where greed is celebrated, truth is traded for convenience, justice is bought, and compassion is treated as weakness.

The prophets did not merely speak to their own generation-they exposed the timeless condition of the human heart.

God’s wisdom was never meant to fit the spirit of the age. It stands above every empire, every ideology, and every generation.

The question is not whether society has changed.

The question is whether we have drifted from the wisdom that was there before the foundations of the world.

Perhaps the greatest tragedy is not that darkness exists-but that so many have become comfortable calling it light.

Wisdom belongs to God

All wisdom belongs to God, not to human achievement. Daniel does not take credit for interpreting the dream; he gives all glory to God.

Wisdom and power are inseparable in God. Unlike humans, who may have knowledge without the ability to act-or power without wisdom-God always acts with perfect wisdom.

God rules over history. The surrounding passage explains that He raises up kings and removes them. His wisdom governs nations as well as individuals.

Human wisdom is limited. Even the wisest people can make mistakes because their perspective is finite. God’s perspective is infinite.

Part 2

So I ask:

Do we truly know why hatred endures? Why prejudice is nurtured? Why neighbour is turned against neighbour? Or have we become so accustomed to the noise that we no longer hear the whisper of truth calling us back to righteousness?

Psalm 73 reminds us that what appears victorious is often only temporary. The prosperity of the wicked is a mist before the morning sun. Their towers may seem unshakable, but they are built upon sand. Their applause will fade. Their power will wither. Their names will pass away.

God alone remains.

Therefore, let not your heart envy those who prosper through injustice. Do not measure success by wealth, influence, or earthly authority. Measure it by faithfulness.

For the Judge of all the earth neither sleeps nor forgets.

The day will come when every hidden motive is revealed, every injustice is answered, every lie is silenced, and every crown laid before the King of kings.

The wicked may flourish for a season.

But seasons change.

God does not.
