One week of 2022 down, 51 more to go - goodnight Dubai!
.
.
Thanks to @photomoisho for inspiring this shot.

A few days ago, I went out to shoot what was meant to be a typical Dubai skyline shot (at a different location). @photomoisho was at the same location and we started chatting about photography and trying different compositions together. He then suggested that we visit this location and we were rewarded with the most beautiful laser show on @burjkhalifa. It was the most unplanned and best evenings I've spent in Dubai so far...to many more to come!

Although I've been spending every summer in Egypt's red sea for the past 30+ years, I finally started diving . What a feeling, nothing compares to it, and I regret not doing it sooner! Can't wait to get back in the water where I belong ✌️

When you arrive to a location with a lovely sunrise like this one, you need to think of the creative process and the end result. With light changing quickly, I took a long exposure (2.5 minutes) and I was pretty happy with the result. But I also loved the regular shot at a much shorter shutter 1/50s - which one do you prefer?
