My Aunt Maxine is the most stylish person I knew growing up. Seeing how she mixed prints, and textures was amazing, but truthfully that’s what Jamaican Fashion is, it’s Bold, unapologetic, and risk taking, an influence that often gets overlooked.

I gave @aliawestgirl my mood board, and being of no Jamaican background she bodied, she took the time to do the homework, and @hausofroxy and I (both Jamaican) were impressed.

This by far was my favorite look of the shoot. These are just a few images, more to come for something special 📕

Growing up between America and Jamaica, you learn to find ways to bring both worlds together. Here we channeled a bit of Diana Ross and Grace Jones, two people who are different, but somewhat similar, both Iconic.

Milton & Arosa for Project Pictures Last Forever 🎞️

Milton (81) and Arosa (75), have been together for 55 years and married for 52 years. They have 6 daughters together. They were both born in Gimme Me Bit, Clarendon, Jamaica.
Milton the water, Arosa the fire, they do in fact balance each other.

It was such an honor to photograph them both and interview them, they were a bit skeptical at first, but they warmed up after a while, and we shared a few laughs. I really do love sitting down and talking to the seasoned folks, personally it brings me joy, and I learn something new each time.
