Bachelor weekend in the mountains with my brothers was something I’ll never forget. Being back together felt like the old days.. nonstop laughs, junk food, competition, and just enjoying every second. I’m incredibly grateful for the constant support these guys have given me and for the way they’ve welcomed and loved Mak as we step into this next chapter. well, I’m super excited to share the news that Mak and I have officially bought a home together… we are extremely proud of this accomplishment. In the past 3 years I have truly put Mak through the wringer, I’m super grateful for her hard work and love and this is ultimately just a house, Makala makes this place a home for Oakley, Tate, and I.

Makala, thank you for being my rock. Today is our 3 years of “dating”/ being committed to one another. This past 3 years has taught me so much about you, me, life, and how nothing matters if you are not by my side. I have learned that I need to strive everyday to be the healthiest, strongest, most loving, most caring, most giving man that I can be for you, because you deserve nothing shy of “the best”. You have never ever given up on me, and man have I failed lots since we’ve been together. I’ve chased the dollar and I let it get in the way of what matters most (and it turns out when I only looked for the dollar, I couldn’t find it and was the brokest I’ve ever been). I’ve learned that you and your love and the love we share, that is what rich is. You have taught me to cry when I need to cry, you’ve taught me to love, you have also taught me to love myself for who I am. Makala, I love you more than words can ever describe. I want you to know that you are so so loved by sooo many people, because you give everyone your whole heart. You give everyone everything you can. Thank you Makala for being the most amazing role model I have ever known. Thank you for showing me how to be a good friend, a mentor to others, and to just be selfless. Summerville has been nothing short of amazing!! I’m enjoying all of the little joys this area has to offer while adulting with Makala and the boys (Oakley and Tate). Future Mr. & Mrs.Dell!

Through all of the obstacles we’ve been through, our love only keeps getting stronger. We have flipped a home, moved away from our first home, taken so many scary leaps of faith, and we just kept growing together. Makala Pfefferkorn thank you for all of the love you give me and the boys (Tate and Oakley), I promise to forever keep you happy, loved, and safe! I love you so so much!

Wow… has it been a year! I’ve became the luckiest person to call Makala my girlfriend, be a part of her family, be able to watch her athletic career finish, and many many more amazing things. This girl has been through hell and still manages to be 4th in the nation in long jump, 11th in the nation in triple jump, bought a home, gained some pretty awesome people in her circle, and so many more amazing accomplishments. She is a true example of how hard work and determination will always follow through. Many negatives have came our way, but we only focus on the positive, move forward, and gain knowledge and experience. I’m so proud of her for everything and I am lucky to be able to be a part of it. Once again, HUGE congratulations to you @makala.pfefferkorn for your accomplishments so far, you have only just began to shock the world! Keep it up, I love you❤️ by @kdell08
