one of my goals for the year was to try Finishing my own projects!! it certainly is a work and progress (yes I used hot glue) which will take more practice but i’m happy to keep learning!! absolutely LOVE how these projects turned out and excited to give my mom her pretzel bag charm!!

SEPTEMBER SCRAPBOOK! 🧡

September flashed bye in a BLINK!! The month kicked off with seeing Harry at MSG (AMAZING BTW), enjoying the end of summer & lots of stitching!! 🪡 Let’s have a great October !!!🍂

🪡FAV PROJECT: Simply obsessed with my NY Round from @mp.stitchery . I had such a wonderful stitching experience with this canvas and got all my threads from @pennylinndesigns in NYC!
🧵FAV THREAD: Pepper Pot Silk is my go-to for backgrounds. The color selection is TOP NOTCH.
🧺DESIGNS ON MY WISHLIST: Loving all the fall and autumn canvases coming out.
📺SHOWS WATCHING/STITCHING TO: HUGE MONTH FOR TV!!!!!! locked in for DWTS and new season of the traitors new blood.

NY ROUND FINISHED!!! 💙🗽🏀🏙️🏟️⚾️

Happy finishing Friday featuring my New York round designed by @mp.stitchery !!!!!!! I got the canvas and threads at @pennylinndesigns NYC & it makes the perfect display in my living room! As a New York Mets/Knicks fan (from Long Island) I had to throw some orange in the canvas, thread & finishing details below:

AUGUST SCRAPBOOK! 🩵

The month of August was filled with watching Below Deck, giggling & of course stitching!! 🪡Let’s have a great September & start to FALL!!!🍂

🪡FAV PROJECT: This 13 mesh canvas was so relaxing to stitch while watching my favorite shows. I love adding a 13 mesh project in between my heavier detailed canvases to make it feel like a quick stitch.
🧵FAV THREAD: Very Velvet is hands down one of my favorite threads to stitch with based on the stitching experience. Can’t recommend enough!!
🧺DESIGNS ON MY WISHLIST: I’ve been really loving bag charm and pillow canvases. Been adding lots to my wishlist.
📺SHOWS WATCHING/STITCHING TO: Okay this season of Below Deck Med is WILD!!!! Every week something new happens and am constantly looking forward to next week.
🎧THINGS I’M LISTENING TO AT WORK: Absolutely LOVE listening to podcasts at work!!! Anything with pop culture references I’m SAT for.

JULY SCRAPBOOK! 🎇

This summer is flying by!! The month of July was filled with watching Southern Charm, podcasts & of course stitching!! 🪡Let’s have a great August!!!💛

🪡FAV PROJECT: Simply obsessed with all of the PL X NYC canvases. I stitched this Pretzel Mini for my mom and now I need one too.
🧵FAV THREAD: Milan is the best for 13 mesh. Period.
🧺DESIGNS ON MY WISHLIST: Lots of fun drops this month!!!
📺SHOWS WATCHING/STITCHING TO: Writing this and have officially finished Southern Charm. The season 11 cast was great and look forward to next season!!
🎧THINGS I’M LISTENING TO AT WORK: I’ve been on my podcast game at work!!! The two giggly squad episodes a week are so fun to look forward to.

STITCHING & TRAVELING THROUGH EUROPE! 🌊🛳️🇮🇹🍋🧵

Two months ago my family and I traveled through the Mediterranean on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas & knew I wanted to document the trip with these travel rounds! I ordered these three from @needlepointdotcom and kitted majority of the canvases from my own stash!! 🪡

Below are some of my favorite threads, tidbits, & recommendations traveling with multiple projects!!✈️

🧶 Bring projects with similar colors to condense the amount of thread you’re packing!! These three Italy travel rounds consisted of the same colors (Fyre Werks Black for the letters, Essentials White/Red/Black/Green/Brown) which made it easier when packing. ✨ Special shoutout to the @morganjuliadesigns Bar Cart Club thread cards which helped having multiple thread colors on one card!

💙 Magnetic Tin Boxes to keep all your tools together! Instead of searching through your project bag for your scissors/needles, store your metal tools safely in a magnetic tin box to prevent your items getting misplaced. Mine pictured here is from @pennylinndesigns in the Rowayton exclusive print!!

📸 Enjoy your trip & stitch when the moment feels right!! Travel days can be long (especially after days walking around Italy), your project will be there for you when you’re ready! I’m currently still stitching my Florence travel round and am in no rush finishing it! These canvases will remind me of the fond memories from this trip regardless whenever I finish stitching it!

Excited to see my travel round collection grow!!💌

JUNE SCRAPBOOK! 🩵

Can’t believe we are halfway through the year already!! This past month I started my new job, and have been focusing on creating a new routine post-grad!!📘Lots of stitching updates to share soon, let’s have a great JULY!!!🎇

🪡FAV PROJECT: Second Europe themed Travel Round Complete!!! This design felt very classic Italy, and loved pulling threads from my stash.
🧵FAV THREAD: Pepper Pot Silk Variegated is SO COOL!! Will be looking for more to add to my stash and use for decorative background stitches.
🧺DESIGNS ON MY WISHLIST: Been loving all of the summer, coastal canvases on my feed.
📺SHOWS WATCHING/STITCHING TO: Tis the season to binge a new bravo show and let me tell you I’m obsessed with Southern Charm. AND don’t get my started on OFF CAMPUS.
🎧THINGS I’M LISTENING TO AT WORK: I’ve been on my podcast game at work!!! As Hannah Berner declared, it is a soft smile summer.

TENNIS BEAR fINISHED!!!🎾💜🐻

MAY SCRAPBOOK! ✈️

We’re so backkkkk!! Just wrapped up a month of traveling back home to Long Island / day trip to Montauk / family cruise to Europe & now I’m back working in Gainesville!!🧡 Have lots to catch up on and settling back into my routine, enjoy my May recap!!!
