Thank you Hudson cross country for the past 10 years. What a ride it has been. Not really the way that I had liked to end my career, but I can say that i gave it my all. This sport has been there for me through thick and thin, and has always been a backbone for me, and something to lean on. I am so grateful for all of the fun I had and the memories that will last a lifetime. I’d like to thank the coaches for pushing me to be the best athlete I can be and for the life lessons learned. I’d like to thank my family for always coming to all of my meets, supporting me, and cheering me on, because they were always my biggest fans. Last but not least I’d like to thank the amazing girls that were not only teammates but I consider them sisters, I am so proud of how far each and every one of you have come, and how amazing we did as a team. I couldn’t do it without you guys and I love you all so much. While I’m excited about the future and the new opportunities that await, I’ll miss the thrill and the adrenaline rush of the races and the bond we shared as a team. Cross country has taught me valuable lessons about hard work, resilience, and the importance of supporting one another. These experiences have not only made me a better athlete but also a better person, and I will carry them with me into the next chapter of my life. It’s such a bittersweet thing to say goodbye to something so great, but I can’t wait to see what God has planned for my future, this is just the beginning. Once a tiger, always a tiger. 🧡🐅

Oh Lord, You loved this world so much that you gave your one and only Son, that we might be called your children too. Lord, help us to live in the gladness and grace of Easter Sunday every day, and remember what this day is truly about. Let us have hearts of thankfulness for your sacrifice. Let us have eyes that look upon Your grace and rejoice in our salvation. Please help us to walk in that mighty grace and tell your good news to the world. All for Your glory do we pray, Amen. ✝️ #HeIsRisen #SeniorSunday by @keeganshaffer_
