The countdown is real and I have so many feelings about it 🥹

Maternity leave gave me way more than time to heal — it gave me a front row seat to this whole new life I didn't know I wanted so badly.

Slow mornings, first steps, all the in-between moments. Now I'm staring down the return to emails and meetings, and honestly? I don't know how to leave this life behind, even for a few hours a day.

Anyone else feel like maternity leave ruined you for "normal life" in the best way?

One week left of my first year of motherhood — and I'm spending it at the cottage where his first summer happened.

IVF taught me things about my body I never expected 🤍
The bloating, the exhaustion, the strange science-experiment feeling — nobody prepares you for it.
But somewhere in there, I learned to be gentler with myself.

What I wish someone told me before I started IVF 🤍

Not the medical stuff — the real stuff.
The emotional weight.
The body changes.
The way it tests your relationship and your patience and your sense of self, all at once.

If you're in the middle of it right now, I see you. It's so much harder than people who haven't lived it will ever understand. And it's so worth it, even on the days it doesn't feel like it.

Our first Family Vacation 🌴🥥🌊
The moment his tiny toes hit the water, I completely fell apart 🥲 (in the best way)

After everything we went through to get here - standing on that beach watching him discover the sand + ocean for the very first time ... is something I'll never forget as long as I live.

This is the life I used to only dream about, and now it's mine.
