Unfortunately this is the end of the road. I am Forever blessed that I got to be apart of something so amazing. The best 4 years with the best people. Owensboro High School Cheerleading will forever be a program filled with love, dedication, and joy. Thank you Owensboro High School Cheerleading for everything and for shaping me into who I am today and providing me with a second home, as well as with people who go beyond being just teammates and coaches, but people who are family. #fild #HOOD by @keeli.hanley

If I had to describe this season, I would definitely say it was a rollercoaster both mentally and physically. This/my junior track season started almost immediately after my cross country season with training for indoor. The indoor season was looking great with new indoor PRs and great block starts! However, the outdoor season was a different kettle of fish. I started outdoor with times that I wasn’t very happy about, but with teammates both new and old, that had the biggest potential and great work ethic and which was visible throughout the entire season. However, as spring break rolled around, a couple of days with a slightly tight hamstring turned into a hamstring strain all in the matter of a day of block starts. With around a 3-week break, I was overjoyed to be back running, but unfortunately just could not seem to get back to 100%. Therefore, a couple of meets later, at region, I aggravated my hamstring to the point where I ended up back at square one. This in which ended my season early. However I was still able to help my teammates make it to state, as well as cheer them on as they raced at state, which was way more sweet than bitter! Now, I absolutely cannot wait to get back to running (hopefully in a few weeks) and working towards next season! G>∧∨ by @keeli.hanley
