🔥~~~ a bit about this transmission:

... guided by the rhythms of the Earth, the Sun, the Moon ...

The depths of Keena Maya’s sound are incantations, drawing us down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, and invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise.

I call my sound BASS BLISS
> > > an organic electronic transmission of global music for heart expansion and becoming < < <

I passionately create intentional, ritualistic dance experiences. Embodiment over substances to awaken deep states of being and connecting with ourselves, each other, and the beyond human world.

🔥🔥 Find my set up on @soundcloud + full video @youtube - truly such a powerful embodiment of the feminine energy of creation, aligned with the peak summer solstice energy. Cocreated with @dreeemy @marsseia !

RITUAL BASS
Music ceases to be music and becomes the experience of sound.
Bass drum oscillations become brainwaves.
Performance becomes ritual.
Dance becomes trance.
Body becomes earth.
Meditation to ecstasy and back.

🌟ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Ecstatic Dance Silent Disco with Keena Maya @keena.maya 🌟

Another trip around the sun. 🌞

And this one feels different.

The last year and a half has been a deep descent into a completely new version of myself.

Motherhood rearranged me.

My relationship to time.
My relationship to my body.
My relationship to creativity.
My relationship to what actually matters.

There has been a lot less performing, producing, traveling, posting.

And a lot more listening.

Listening to my child.
Listening to my body.
Listening to the seasons.
Listening to the garden.
Listening for what wants to emerge next.

There has been so much life happening outside of the frame.

And I think I’m ready to let a little more of it in.

This birthday feels less like a beginning and more like a **return.**

A return to sound.
To dance.
To ritual.
To creating beautiful spaces.
To the moon.
To the earth.
To sharing more of the real, whole, messy, magical human being behind it all.

I have a feeling there is a lot waiting to be born.

I’m listening. 🌿

Here’s to another trip around the sun — and to whatever wants to emerge from this one.

Thank you for being here. 🤍 by @keena.maya

Since its beginning, Moondance Pennsylvania has been a prayer created by the community and for the community. We believe that prayer should never be limited by financial means, and our intention is that every woman who feels called to dance will be able to do so.

This Medicine Music Festival is our first benefit gathering in support of that vision. Together, we are taking the first steps toward establishing a permanent sanctuary where this prayer can continue to flourish for generations to come, in preparation for Moondance Pennsylvania 2027.

Join us for a day of music, ceremony, community, and gratitude as we gather on behalf of life. Every song, every prayer, every shared moment, and every contribution helps weave this vision into reality.

Save the date, invite your loved ones, and be part of the beginning of something that belongs to all of us. DM to get on the list•more information to be released….Every week• taken in Pocono Mountains,Pensylvania by @keena.maya
