1st weekend in the books. Was not the full house I expected. And they talked me into showing 'Predator' instead of The Monster Squad.

We did get to watch The Thing. Was some gory stuff!

Onto week 2.

Keep going.

Some foam, some passion, and that spark of creativity us AuuuuuhDHDers catch when its 1 am and a tropical storm is coming.

Finally got motivated 🙌

"And there will be no one to stop us!!!"

Special thanks to @lunamoongothic for the AMAZING recreation!!!!!! You truly are part of the Monster Squad :D

Trying my hand at props this year, Vampire style...I think this will be a hit. Need ro add some cobwebs and finish the podium...might have an idea for crosses...

And even if they don't love it, do :)

Thanks for looking!!!

Still learning new IG formats and rules.
Particularly proud do this candle.
Every piece of art you see on my page tends to be something I'd never tried, or a medium I'd never used.

Thinking about doing some more during the holiday time, using different color schemes.

Suggestions?

The cardboard just did not want to be cut. Will need some touch up, but this is exactly what I was going for.

Was able to find the fully finished pictures of the word art.

This, too, ended up simply being a gift to a friend for a birthday because it was something new to attempt. Had never worked with markers before. At least, not in this type of creative sense.

Thanks for looking

Original Dragon artwork, 8 x 11, colored pencil and chalk pastel. A favorite

Trust the process, right?
Someone said recently that expression is the opposite of depression.

I agree.

Waiting for first layer to dry, then touch up, then highlights, then cutting out the broken glass.

Wondering if cellophane may be needed for glass. Have an idea for the back, should work out awesomely

This is roughly 4' x 4'

Had a thought about an idea.

Never worked with hot glue
Nor eva foam

But whats the rule? Create it first, then refine it.

And have a cool idea for the inside but dont have materials yet

5s principles say I should have sifted through what amounts I have before halfway starting a project.

And score when you find an old mask that you absolutely know what its going to be repressed for.

Inadequate tools will always leave you working twice as hard for half as efficient results.

Time is the enemy of all.
