Yesterday our girls focused on what makes each individual special. We all have our certain characteristics and there is no right or wrong! You don’t have to be intimidating to be a good athlete, you don’t have to be anything you aren’t. The girls each chose a word that represented them and who they are. As girls we are strong, loved, brave, gentle, happy, smart, and unique. #girlsgolf #keepherplaying #positivementalattitude by @keep_her_playing

Our Christmas clinic was so much fun this Saturday! The girls focused on what factors cause high school girls to drop out of sports and how to prevent them! We had so many fun games and hit the range to work on our full swing! Merry Christmas!🎄🎁 by @keep_her_playing

Today we focused on fun and recovery. A lot of people only talk about playing tournaments, keeping your head together, and finishing strong. These are very important, although, no one talks about the time after the round. Recovery is important to make sure girls don’t burn out and lose the passion because they don’t know how to recuperate from a bad round. For starters, describe 3 really good shots you had that you are proud of. Write down every good detail as if you’re reliving it. Another way to recover is to remind yourself you can’t control the past. The only things you can control in golf is your mindset and how you react. By learning how to handle bad rounds, girls are more likely to want to continue their career in golf. Remember, keep her playing!! #keepherplaying #girlsgolf #positivemindset by @keep_her_playing
