This journey was never just about losing weight — it was about finding myself again. I once settled into comfort and lost sight of who I was, both physically and spiritually. But God had more for me. Through faith, obedience, discipline, hard work, and unwavering consistency, He not only transformed my body — He renewed my soul.

40 pounds down, countless lessons gained, and a Spartan Race finished in the top 12% on my first try — proof that when you let God lead, He’ll take you places you never imagined.

If you feel stuck, broken, or too far gone — remember, the same God who strengthened me is ready to strengthen you. Keep going. He’s not done with you yet!

Today, on Pentecost Sunday—the day the Holy Spirit was poured out and the Church was born.

Holy Spirit has been tugging on the strings for a while now and today that conviction hit different. Too strong to ignore!

The presence of God has been calling us to take a bold step of obedience and faith. Today, not only myself but my mother and my wife all made the public declaration of laying down of pride, our past, and our plans—and were baptized in the name of Jesus.

The old is gone. The new has come. An insurmountable joy and peace that only Jesus can provide. This is what it’s all about… not me all Him! To God be all the Glory! Come Home 🏠!

End chapter 35 Gratitude

Beginning chapter 36 Provision

Each year brings its own revelations but by his continued Grace and Mercy I am privileged to be able to attack each day with a sense of Peace, Joy and Gratitude.

Lord you are more than good. I trust you wholeheartedly to guide my steps and continue to lead us into your presence. We do not know what lies ahead but you do and for that reason no fear, doubt, or pretentious feelings shall consume me. Thank you for being able to feel again to be able to cry tears of Joy brought by the simple things in Life that I once took for granted.

Lastly, Thank you for every answered and unanswered prayer.

Psalms 91:5-16

5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

Consistent Effort >! The Work program keeps paying off! All glory to God.

Thank you Lord for guiding me towards discipline in EVERY ASPECT and reminding me that patience is crucial element on this path. Have experienced plenty of peaks and valleys so far and you’ve been with me each second of the way.

Still some ways to go for my personal goals and thats alright!

6 weeks of “strict training.” The goal wasn’t just to lose weight, but to maintain the muscle and sharpen the discipline.

The data:

-6.2 lbs total weight

-5.0 lbs fat mass

Lean mass maintained

Visceral fat level 7 → 5

Discipline in the gym is discipline everywhere else. Exercise self-control in all areas: diet, habits, and focus.

No crash cuts. No gimmicks. No resets.
Bodyweight came down.
Strength went up.
Aerobic capacity improved.

Went to war today with an exceptional challenge. Came in confident and left hungrier to beat my best the next time. Despite hitting a major wall on ski ergs and the air bike I definitely left encouraged and also with MAJOR respect to those who do this consistently 🤣🤣🤣. Had no idea what to expect but definitely looking forward to this challenge again.

Thank you @crossfitdeerpark for hosting an awesome event!

Couldn’t/Wouldnt had the juice to finish strong without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the love of my family to push me through.

Today wraps up season 10 for me as a football coach. I have a hard time being able to describe the gratitude I live with daily to have been able to get to this point, but Lord knows how much of a blessing this journey has been. I’ve been blessed to see and be a part of countless amount of lives changed and I pray that as long as the Good Lord sees me fit in this role than I shall continue to do my best.

I cant @ everyone that I’ve been able to coach or coach with but know from the bottom of my heart you are appreciated and I love each and every one of you.

To all of the guys I have been able to coach just Know this, once your playing days are done you will always have a friend, big bro, unc, coach whatever you see fit with me. Thank God for the journey and thank God I was able to be a part of your life. May God continue to guide not only my steps but our steps and let our obedience be the answer to the call.
