Nothing like the Midwest ❤️Who says Indiana is lame?! The Midwest is the best place to raise a family in my opinion. Farm land, fresh air, but you still have the convenience of a bigger city just a short drive over the bridge. When we moved here we had to decide if we’d live on the louisville side or the Indiana side and 10/10 times I’d pick this side again for our lifestyle. And if you still don’t think there’s much to do, you clearly haven’t been following me long enough! 😉#familyfriendly #placestolive #local by @keepingupinsoin

Lunch, a show, and candy? Voted the number one candy store in America 2 years in a row! Schimpff’s has been serving up their famous Cinnamon Red Hots (and more) for over 130 years. My kids loved being able to sit down for lunch, grab a milkshake, watch candy being made, and stroll through the candy museum before grabbing a treat to take home. There’s something about your kids having a childhood where they get to experience things you experienced with your own siblings that just hits in the feels 🥹Growing up on a farm, my sister and I were ALWAYS outside. Riding 4-wheelers through the blueberries, pretending our bikes were cars on the farm roads, and always a trip to the creek with dad where we’d just go right in no bathing suit required. Don get me wrong my kids fight a lot already lol but so did my sister and I. All I can hope for is my kids to have memories they look back on in their 30s that they can reminisce with each other on as well. #parenthood #toddlermom #millenialmom by @keepingupinsoin
