A love letter to electronic improvisation from @kassablancajena : For over a decade, the artists behind @kabelsalat.music have been coming together every couple of weeks to jam – somewhere between a club PA and a foosball table.

What emerges is a raw blend of driving techno, dreamy ambient and handcrafted live sound. Bold, colourful, alive – “MAKE KABELSALAT, NOT WAR” is more than music. It’s a movement, a collective, a sonic experiment. Peace !

Jacques Bon & Pit Spector are a Paris based duo exploring a reduced and precise form of club music. 
Their sound moves in a space of controlled uncertainty, carefully constructed, formally defined, yet emotionally open. Rather than relying on complexity, the tracks unfold through space, time and feeling, drifting between direction and openness. 
Margaux Gazur’s remix sharpens this tension into a direct physical presence, balancing intensity and clarity while preserving the emotional core of the original. 
The visual concept by Konstantin Fürchtegott Kipfmüller extends this approach into a reduced autonomous visual language, not illustration but a parallel space of its own logic.

In 2014, Jeff Mills teamed up with filmmaker Jacqueline Caux to play with our perceptions through ‘soundscapes’ that are as philosophical as they are poetic. The result: MAN FROM TOMORROW.

In a way, I listened to the film and its explicit message, and in doing so discovered this statement „MUSIC WAS NEVER THE PROBLEM“, which I would like to present as significant for current views on music. In my view, in the age of AI, music should not be reduced to a product, but should continue to be an expression of emotion without any commercial ulterior motives.

So in that way i picked up this message to create a poster for @liveatrobertjohnson. Thanks to @atamacias for supporting the idea.

A new tshirt graphic (greetings to Robert Indiana) for @liveatrobertjohnson in honoration to Disconet Records Service, New York.

New York based „subscription“ label founded in 1977 by Mike Wilkinson, aka „Captain Mike“. Any working „Club“ or „Radio“ DJ with proper documentation could „subscribe“ and receive the monthly vinyl double-packs (called side A/B + bonus side 1/2). There were seasonal bonus discs, and the occasional „triple-pack“ release as well, and a small number of CD compilations were manufactured toward the end of the label’s life. The label folded in 1990.

100% organic cotton. Vegan and PETA-conform.
