Psalms 37:11

The Meek (Anav): Not weak or timid, but possessing strength under control. These are people who refuse to get angry or seek revenge, choosing instead to trust in a higher power

• Inheriting the Land: A promise of permanent stability and safety. The wicked might succeed temporarily, but the humble are the ones who endure.

• Abundance of Peace (Shalom): Not just quietness, but a state of total wholeness, health, and security that external chaos cannot disrupt. by @keepswimming711

I am still completely overwhelmed and filled with gratitude after Bela’s 16th birthday party. 😭❤️After two long years of feeling so isolated, seeing everyone show up, pitch in, and wrap our family in so much love meant absolutely everything to us. We could not have pulled this off without the amazing friends and family who stepped up to help out with everything. To everyone who came, helped behind the scenes, and made Bela feel so incredibly special—thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how much your support truly means to us. Here’s to a beautiful year ahead! 🎉 by @keepswimming711

There is such a quiet, thoughtful vision in the way you see the world—a blend of the colors you choose to layer and the newfound power of the melodies you are beginning to share. Your life is becoming its own masterpiece, finding that rare harmony between the stroke of a brush and the resonance of a voice. It has been the privilege of our lives to see you discover these different layers of yourself, watching as the light you carry finds new ways to shine.
As you step into your twenties, our wish for you is that you never lose that creative spark or the courage to trust the beauty you create. May this decade be filled with as much inspiration and grace as you have given to all just by being who you are.
I am your biggest fan, today and always.

1969: Up Close with The Crow’s Championship Canucks

To the sports world, 1969 was the year my great-uncle Joe “The Crow” Crozier drove the Vancouver Canucks to a legendary Lester Patrick Cup championship. But to me, a seven-year-old kid sitting in the stands, it was simply magic. I didn’t just watch the games—with my mom being his favorite niece, came added privileges. I was allowed back into their world to meet the players. Walking away with a prized hockey stick completely covered in their signatures that might have left my cousins filled with envy, That golden season remains an unforgettable memory.

While most knew him as “The Crow”—the legendary coach, builder, and brilliant hockey mind who transformed entire franchises—his career was defined by massive victories.
From winning a Memorial Cup to capturing consecutive Lester Patrick Cups in the WHL, he excelled at every level.

He went on to lead the Rochester Americans through a historic golden era as a three-time Calder Cup champion coach, earning him a rightful place in the AHL Hall of Fame.
When he jumped to the NHL to coach the Buffalo Sabres, he became the mastermind who put together the legendary “French Connection” line, guiding the young franchise to its first-ever playoff berth.

But when I think of him, my mind goes straight to his home in the British Properties. Those family visits couldn’t have been sweeter.
I will always remember the magic of that spiral staircase, and how my cousin would take me into her room to play. Being the same age, I loved hanging out in a space that had its own TV, a pink phone, and a canopy bed.

He was a massive presence in the sports world, but to our family, he was a beloved uncle who gave us memories we will cherish forever.

To my Gramma Martha, he was her baby brother.
When he passed away in October 2022 at the age of 93, the hockey world lost a legend, but our family lost a beautiful piece of our history.

As this time of year arrives right alongside Thanksgiving, the season brings the perfect space for reflection. It leaves me deeply thankful for the past, and hopeful for the future. by @keepswimming711

This is my Auntie Adelaine, who is known as Sister Mary Daniel.

Her names are carried out throughout our family.
Bela’s middle name is Adelaine and Robbie’s middle name was Daniel.
This precious photo was captured in my Mom’s front yard.
She would spend summers here as she lived and worked at a Catholic school in Ontario.
I can say now she was very naughty in the summers which only made her more charming.
Robbie once caught her holding a hidden card during our card game, and was quite distraught.
I explained to him that she’s always done this, the not so secret, secret in our family.
Come September she would return to Ontario to recite her Hail Mary’s
She ,Jenni and Robbie had a very strong bond, she was firecracker and we all loved her immensely ♾️♥️
Stay tuned I have a pic of her with the Pope, one of her happiest moments.
I’m loving Robbie’s playful grin. His playful spirit is missed 🕊️ by @keepswimming711

Psalm 37:11
…is an encouragement for when life feels unfair.
It teaches that the aggressive and corrupt will eventually lose everything, while those who stay humble, patient, and dependent on faith will receive a sense of lasting security and deep peace. by @keepswimming711

1982 Roomies, nothing in the fridge but beer and yogurt.
We threw a huge party there, what with motorcycles on the front lawn and in the front foyer. All of Burnaby showed up
I swear including all the Burnaby Burnout crew.
Landlord literally lived in basement and he never even evicted us, but look at those faces how could he be mad at us!
I think we even blew our rent money on Chinese take out that weekend!
Ah, too be young and free 🤩 taken in Burnaby South by @keepswimming711
