last year for my birthday, my husband took
me to our first stop of the day, seaworld 🐟

i’ve always loved aquariums and always wanted to visit seaworld
but didn’t wanna support orcas in captivity. did some research
and found out the seaword in abu dhabi is the only seaworld
franchise that doesn’t feature orcas performing !

but when i watch these clips back ..
what stands out to me most isn’t the aquarium

it’s me 🫣

i remember exactly how i felt during this time,
and how lonely that season of my life was

i felt isolated, uncertain, and like my world had suddenly
become so much smaller. there were days when i genuinely
wondered if things would always feel that way and if things
will ever change for me.

a year and many months later, so many of the things
that kept me awake at night don’t even matter anymore.
the fears got quieter, the anxiety got so sooo smaller
and my world feels better and bigger now

i laugh more
i trust myself more
i feel more at home in my own life

and maybe that’s the beautiful thing about difficult seasons
when you’re in them, you think they’ll last forever but they don’t !

sometimes you just have to give
life enough time to surprise you 💙
