Dear Mum 🤍

I miss you in ways words will never fully capture. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you, hear your voice, or feel your love guiding me. I took our pride and joys to Spain, carrying a piece of you with us in every moment every laugh, every memory, every sunset.

Tuesday 17th February the day my heart broke in a way I never knew was possible again as I said goodbye to my mum, my safe place, my comfort, my everything. A piece of me went in the ground with you that day. Nothing prepares you for the emptiness, for the silence where your voice should be, for the unbearable reality that I can’t call you, hug you, or hear you tell me everything will be okay.

Mum, you were my home before I even knew what home meant. You were the person who made the world feel safe, who loved me without limits, and who carried me through life in ways I will spend forever being grateful for. I hope you truly knew how deeply you were loved, because losing you has left an ache that words will never fully explain. I will carry your love, your strength, and your memories in every breath I take. This isn’t goodbye forever… but it is the hardest goodbye I’ve ever had to say. 🤍

Giving you your send-off felt both beautiful and devastating a farewell truly fit for a queen, yet still not enough for someone who meant so much. Watching everyone come together, hearing the stories, seeing the tears, and feeling the love in the room made it clear how many hearts you touched. You were so deeply loved, and the world feels quieter without you in it.

Thank you to everyone who reached out, sent prayers, made contributions, and came to pay their respects. Your kindness has held me up when I felt like I couldn’t stand, and I will forever be grateful for the love shown to my mum and to our family during the most painful time of our lives. by @keesha_amor
