✨ A little cast update! ✨

I’m excited to share that I’ll now be appearing in I’M GOOD: The Stage Play as Taina! 💚

Now Taina… 😂 She’s funny, a little messy, loves a good piece of tea ☕️ and definitely has something to say. But that’s about all I’m giving y’all. 😂

I’m really excited to take on this role because Taina will be a new kind of character for me. She’s going to take me outside of my comfort zone and stretch me as an actress, and I’m looking forward to bringing her to life and making her feel like a real person on stage. 🎭

I can genuinely say that I’M GOOD is a powerful and relatable story, and I’m not just saying that because I’m part of it. After reading the story and beginning rehearsals, I really appreciate how thoughtfully it’s written and how it touches on things that people can recognize in their own lives.

I’m excited for you all to experience it. 💚

🎭 A new chapter in the journey…

I’m excited to share that I’ll be appearing in I’M GOOD: The Stage Play as Lisa! 💚

Written and produced by ShaKera Akins, I’M GOOD was inspired by a question we answer all the time without really thinking about it: “How are you?”

So often the automatic response is “I’m good,” even when there’s so much more happening beneath the surface. Through her own experiences with loss, faith, healing, and finding purpose through difficult seasons, ShaKera created a story that explores what can sometimes be hidden behind those two simple words.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to appear as Lisa and bring another character to life. 🥹🎭 I’m excited, a little nervous 😂, and looking forward to this experience!

Yesterday we celebrated our Pastor, William McDowell, for his 50th birthday. 🤍

It was such a beautiful moment seeing him receive the plaques from the music he’s released over the years, especially knowing he had never ordered them for himself. He explained that his focus has always been on keeping his heart and his music centered on God, rather than the recognition.

I’m truly grateful to be part of a church where I’m continuing to learn, grow, and be led by a Pastor who sincerely loves the Lord. I look forward to continued growth and all that God has in store.

It’s a wrap! 🎭💛

As much as I’m looking forward to some rest, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little sad that rehearsals and performances have come to an end.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of Down Hill, for the amazing cast and crew, and for the lessons learned along the way. This experience reminded me that growth often happens when we step outside of our comfort zones.

Now it’s time to rest, reset, and get ready for the next chapter. ✨

Enjoyed attending a local networking event and connecting with other creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals here in Orlando ✨

One thing I’ve always appreciated about hospitality and real estate is how much people, communication, and positive experiences matter during major life transitions.

Yesterday’s rehearsal honestly shifted my understanding of acting. It helped me realize how layered emotions, reactions, movement, and presence truly are when bringing a character to life.

Through preparing for the role of Maya in Down Hill, I also realized how much emotional openness and curiosity I buried over the years while navigating life and protecting myself.

This experience has definitely pushed me outside of my comfort zone creatively and emotionally, but it’s also reminded me how much I genuinely love storytelling and the arts. 🎭

Down Hill will be showing May 29–31 at Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, FL and is based on the true story of Anderson C. Hill. Thank you to everyone supporting and encouraging me through this journey so far. 💛
