On April 19th, 2026, Happy and I became officially engaged.

After a night spent on the beach, messy and unkept, he took me by canoe to a secluded island and asked me to marry him.

People often say that time stands still in moments like these.

I used to think that was just a saying.

Just recently, someone asked me what I love most about Happy.

I noticed myself feeling pulled to just list his amazing qualities.

But the truth is, what I love most isn’t a list.

It’s what we have chosen to discover about ourselves, each other, and life itself through the mystery that is in each other’s heart.

From the very beginning, there was a knowing of this commitment.

It was there when he first dropped into my DM’s and was incredibly clear about his intentions.

It was there in the knowing in my heart that I had been praying and healing to create the space for my person to come in. The knowing that Divine Mother/Father had answered my prayers.

It was there on our third date when we asked each other a question many people never stop to consider.

(Especially because each of us had done “many” relationships—although not always well.)

The question was:

“Why would we do relationship again?”

And realized that we were aligned in our intentions.

For us, relationship was never simply about finding someone else to love.

It was about choosing a shared path of devotion to integrating our so called “wounded” parts to be able to embody more of our soul’s light & reflect wholeness to each other & the world.

A profound shared commitment to becoming better humans and re-membering who we truly are through the practice of loving one another.

Our love has never been perfect.

Profound, deep, alchemical… yes. Alchemy can be very Playful! Happy & I enjoy “dark” humour & teasing each other.

But never perfect.

And yet, through every season, every challenge, every threshold, we chose each other again.

This time with a ring.

The privilege of a lifetime is to know someone soo fully & still choose them.

The adventure (mystery) is perhaps…..that you never fully will…….😉

Compliments, Insults & Shadow Integration

Whether someone compliments or insults you, they are partly right. Getting in touch with the spectrum of your being and expressions gives you say over how your shadow works. Bringing the shadow to light rather than disavowing it leads to self-authorship, which can lead to self-transcendence. by @kefazoe
