Delly’s final tennis banquet was tonight. A high school career to be incredibly proud of.

Freshman year- One Singles, 2nd Team All Conference, State Qualifier (16-10)

Sophomore year- One Singles, 1st Team All Conference, Sectional Runner Up, State Qualifier, Team MVP (20-5)

Junior Year- One Doubles, 1st Team All Conference, Sectional Champs, D2 State Champs, Team MVP (31-0)

Senior Year-One Doubles, 1st Team All Conference, Sectional Champs, D2 State Champs, Team MVP, Team Captain(29-0)

It is impossible to express our gratitude to Lizzy Bergstrom for the amazing 7 years our family has experienced on the Zephyr Girls Tennis Team. Her dedication, positivity, determination, love of the game, sportsmanship and kindness make this team a special and unique atmosphere where all of the girls thrive & succeed.

This weekend Adel played her last high school match. She had a high school career that exceeded any hopes or expectations any of us had. One Singles both Freshman and Sophomore year. One Doubles Junior and Senior year, paired with Vivie. 96 career wins, with an unprecedented 60-0 record & 2 state championships with Vivie.
She has sacrificed time with friends, worked through injuries and pushed herself incredibly hard. She loves the strategy and technical aspects of tennis.
Thank you to her amazing coaches - Dan Oliver, Lizzy Bergstrom Auth, John Frausto & Scott Alan Meixl. We are so grateful!

25 years later - 2 amazing kids, crazy pugs and bunnies, lots of life’s ups and downs. No one else I would rather spend my life with.

It happened in a blink…Delly turns 18 today.

She is incredibly kind, thoughtful, hard working, determined, dedicated, ambitious, witty, smart and beautiful inside and out. She knows her worth and is confident in herself.
Adel has already achieved so much because of her determination and work ethic - I can’t wait to see what adulthood brings!

36 hours in Cleveland to celebrate one of Adel’s coaches/pros, John Frausto, induction into the RSPA HOF. We are incredibly grateful to have been invited to celebrate this extremely well deserved honor. We then caught 2 semifinal matches at the WTA 250 Tennis in the Land event. Then hit the Rock n Roll HOF before heading home. A fast and fun trip! taken in Cleveland, Ohio by @kegs1973

We spent the last 4 days in Indianapolis while Delly and her Lakeshore United team competed at the USTA Midwest Junior Team Tennis Championships. LSU took 3rd overall. They played some phenomenal tennis against great competition In 90’+.
So thankful for this excellent group of kids, parents and Coach John Frausto!

Last week Delly and Vivie received the Girls Tennis Player of the Year award at the NE Wisconsin High School Sports Awards in recognition of their phenomenal season. They were surprised, especially with how great the other nominees were. An incredible honor! So proud of their work ethic and determination . Especially grateful for the amazing circle of support they have. 💛🎾🩵🔥💪
