A year ago today I was scheduled to have a kidney transplant. However, by the grace of God, I didn’t need one yet. I will need one eventually, but right now I just get to live my life, which is such a blessing.
On a good note, I was accepted to be a Make A Wish kid when I was 16. Of course, if you know me, I wanted to go to Disney World, and In January my family got to go to Disney World for a week. I have no words for how incredible this experience was, and I know I didn’t deserve the treatment I got, but I will never take it for granted. Thank you @makeawishamerica and @gktwvillage for this experience.
Yes CKD is hard and I had to change my life a lot, but I’m glad it is me than anyone else. Thank you my family, friends, and doctors who make it easy. taken in Disney World by @keiraleigh.__
