The truth is, they lied.

We were sold a dream of becoming a professional wanderlust, collecting passport stamps while pouring bubbly in the air.

They said it was the BEST JOB EVER!

They said “It’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle!”
“Just be a palm tree!”
“Never quit!”

They said we were special because we were chosen.

Although these are true, beneath the surface is the dark truth. The reality is, it’s flawed.

The truth is our health keeps score.
Long duty days. Constant time zone changes. Irregular sleep. Cabin pressure. Dehydration. Cortisol spikes and hormonal imbalances.

IT ALL MATTERS.

Becoming a Flight Attendant has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made.

For over a decade, I’ve found ways to find balance and prioritize health every single day. After experiencing the negative impacts flying had on my body, I knew I wasn’t the only one.

Honeymoon Part I | Paris, France
Auntie Celine “Claudette, Pauline, Marcia, hot gyal” Dion was absolutely breathtaking! 🇯🇲✨🥹

My heart is full. Her voice is literally a gift from God! Praying for good health as she fulfills her destiny on Earth. May her soul forever touch the hearts of the world.

Sharing this moment with my husband @mrtravelyn was truly a memory I’ll etch in the logbook of my heart. To sing the words of a song to the one that has my heart felt like a fairytale!

Thank you God for this life you’ve blessed us with! I am forever grateful and you will always get the glory! 🙏🏾

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭34‬ ‭

Because why would I worry when I have Jesus! 🤭

Just pray about it.

Walking into everything I prayed for is truly a blessing and proof that God is able!

Reliving this moment was priceless. Having my husband @mrtravelyn help me with my dress, getting dressed up, praying together, and having a peaceful day together was one of the most healing experiences.

To all my brides, past, present or future… the day of your #wedding flies by!! It’s okay to carve out time to put the dress back on, spend time with the love of your life, and have a slow day filled with love and whatever you want to do.

Take the photos, love each other, and fully immerse yourself in what most people don’t get to enjoy.

Signed.. a healed Bride ❤️💍🙏🏾
