Spiritual leadership matters! 🙏🇺🇸

Monday, I had the privilege of being invited to the Governor’s Mansion in Austin, Texas, to participate in the Texas Faith Summit!

Thank you, @nateschatzline , for the invitation and the opportunity to encourage pastors from across the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS to be SPIRITUAL LEADERS in their churches, communities, and beyond.

I believe we have a responsibility not just to lead people spiritually, but to PRAY for the places God has called us to serve.

📖 Jeremiah 29:7 (NIV)
“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

And on that same day, October 12, 2026, our Family of Choice began a 21-DAY FAST leading up to the November 3 midterm elections.

We’re intentionally setting aside this time to seek God, pray for our communities, our state, and our nation, and believe for His wisdom and direction.

Spiritual leadership begins with putting GOD FIRST.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside pastors who care deeply about the people and communities they’ve been called to lead.

Let’s continue to PRAY for TEXAS and for AMERICA! 🙏🇺🇸

Are your finances STRUCTURED for where you want to GROW—or where you are right now? 💰

Most people want to grow financially, but have you built the STRUCTURE to support the growth you’re believing God for?

We’ve been talking about How to Structure a Home Run Life at Elevate Life Church, and here’s what I want you to understand:
Your life will have structure by DESIGN or by DEFAULT.

📖 1 Corinthians 9:24 reminds us that we’re all running a race—but we’re called to RUN TO WIN!

There are SIX races we must learn to run intentionally:
Your PERSONAL growth race
Your MARRIAGE race
Your FAMILY race
Your CALLING + CAREER race
Your FINANCIAL race
Your HEALTH race

This Sunday, October 11, we’re talking about the race that impacts almost every area of your life: YOUR FINANCIAL RACE.

Too many people blame their financial circumstances on how much money they make, their bills, or what’s going out versus what’s coming in.

We’re going to look at financial structure from a BIBLICAL perspective—because SUCCESS and PROSPERITY are biblical words, and God has given us principles to live by.

What will your family remember most—your PRESENTS or your PRESENCE? ❤️

One of the most important things to me is intentionally investing in my family—not just my children, but my children’s children. That’s what I call my Heaven on Earth.

Recently, my granddaughter Layla and I had a date together. We laughed, talked, had strawberry lemonade 😂, and made memories.

These moments are about more than having fun.
I want to have a spiritual influence on the generations that come after me. I’ve learned that you can’t impart from a distance.
PRESENCE matters more than PRESENTS.

“Great relationships are the breeding ground for a Quality-Filled Life.” -@Leadershipology

The ‘Thought Behind the Quote’ says:
“When you come to the end of your life…
You will feel the want, to be in ‘their’ PRESENCE…
The relationships you cherished, that gave your life ESSENCE…”

At the end of our lives, we won’t be wishing we had worked one more day, gone one more place or lived life at a faster pace. We’ll want more time with the people we love.

Why wait until the end to realize what matters most?
“Live your life, with The End in VIEW…
Seize the Moments, with your chosen FEW…”
That’s what I want to do. Be fully PRESENT.

The people God has given you aren’t interruptions to the life you’re building.
Great relationships ARE a Quality-Filled Life.
PRESENCE over PRESENTS.

This is what HEAVEN ON EARTH looks like to me. ❤️

At Elevate Life Church, we believe SUCCESS BEGINS ON SUNDAY—and this weekend was a beautiful picture of why.

Friday and Saturday, we experienced an incredible SHE Conference, watching God move in the lives of women.
Then Sunday, my Heaven on Earth, Pastor Sheila @sheilacraft brought a powerful message challenging us to RUN for MORE of JESUS.

There was another moment Sunday that meant more to me than I can put into words.
Last week, I took my granddaughter Layla on a date. During our time together, she told me about her favorite worship song.
What she didn’t know was…it had become one of Papa’s favorites too.
So Sunday, together in church we led worship to that song together. ❤️
Watch the video to hear the story—and see a moment this Papa will never forget.

I’ve spent my life believing that what God does IN us should ultimately flow THROUGH us into the generations coming behind us.

After an incredible weekend at church, I got to spend the rest of Sunday with some of my most cherished Heaven on Earth—our children and grandchildren.

That’s MORE to me.
More of JESUS. More of His presence. More moments with the people God has entrusted to us.  More Heaven on Earth.
More of what matters most.

Are you feeling STUCK?

Sometimes what’s keeping you stuck isn’t your circumstances…
It’s the way you’re PROCESSING them.

We don’t always see people, places and things the way they are. We see them through the way WE are.

We don’t always hear what’s actually being said—we hear it through our experiences, expectations and existing ways of thinking.

Eventually, the way we SEE + HEAR determines how we INTERPRET what’s happening.

Our interpretation can keep us stuck:
“This always happens to me.” “It never works out.” “I don’t deserve that.” “It is what it is.”
But what if you need to PROCESS it differently?

“When you elevate your thinking, you elevate your life.” -@Leadershipology

This is why I believe my best and highest use in this season is being a Think Coach—helping people think about things they’re not thinking about and think better about what they ARE thinking about.

📖 “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

If you’re feeling stuck, ask yourself:
“Is this really what’s happening—or is this just the way I’ve always SEEN and HEARD it?”

Sometimes getting unstuck starts by thinking differently about what you’re already thinking about.

Want to know one of the signs of GREATNESS? You LISTEN differently. 👂

Here’s what I mean…

First, you have to WANT to be great.
You have to believe that God wants greatness for your life.

Great people care enough that they don’t want to have unnecessary misses.
They don’t casually hear something important and move on.
They LISTEN with the intention to ACT.

📖 “Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.” — James 1:19

Why be quick to listen?
Listening creates AWARENESS.
Awareness allows you to take ACTION.
Action produces different RESULTS.

That’s why Romans 10:17 tells us:
📖 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

The better you become at hearing what God is saying, receiving wisdom from the people around you, and recognizing what needs your attention… the quicker you can ACT on what you hear.

“Greatness must be recognized and developed so that Greatness can be given and received.” -@Leadershipology

LISTEN. Become aware. Take action.

What if the job you don’t love is still part of the life God is building?

Yesterday at Elevate Life Church, we continued our Home Run series with the race of your CALLING + CAREER.

Maybe you’re not doing your dream job right now.
Maybe you’re frustrated with where you are.
Maybe you know there’s MORE in you.

Here’s my challenge: Don’t let where you are determine WHO you are while you’re there.

Trade the “have-to” attitude for a “GET-TO” spirit.
Lead yourself and add Value wherever you go.
Bring your BEST and do what you do unto the Lord.

📖 “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” — Colossians 3:23

Offer Him your Monday. Offer Him your Tuesday. Offer Him the work that doesn’t look like your dream yet.

You can say, “God, this may not be where I want to stay, but I’m going to give You my BEST while I’m here—and believe You with my future.”

“You don’t do anyone a favor by playing small. Be who you are, who you are purposed to be, and bring your 1% Factor.” -@Leadershipology

You have something to offer that nobody else has.
Bring THAT person to work tomorrow.
Be your BEST where you are while believing God for where you’re going.

What happens when you get in a room where people are pulling you UP instead of pulling you DOWN?

That’s the power of the RIGHT room.
Two days. Two different Mastermind rooms. One commitment to GROW.

This week, I had the privilege of hosting two incredible days of Mastermind at my home in Celina, Texas.

Day 1: CORE Mastermind.
Day 2: ELITE Mastermind.

One of our leaders shared that after multiple years in Foundations, he could actually look at his profit and loss and identify the season he was outside of Mastermind.
His growth had flatlined.  Then he got back in the room—and things began moving again.

Another leader described what he experienced in CORE with two words:
COMPOUND INFLUENCE.
Being surrounded by people who are pulling you UP, not pulling you down.

That’s why these rooms matter to me.
📖 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.” — Hebrews 10:24

The right people don’t allow you to stay comfortable.  They challenge your thinking.  They expand your perspective.  They call you higher.  They influence who you’re becoming.

Whether you’re leading a business, a team, a family or an organization, eventually you have to ask:  Am I becoming the kind of leader worth following?

Get around people who aren’t just impressed by where you’ve been—but are committed to helping you become who you need to be for where you’re going.
