I had such a fun time volunteering and attending the @midlandsfibrefestival A big thank you Mary and Chad for organising, long may it live! (Any excuse to add a Taylor Swift song to a post 🤭) I'm already looking forward to the next one 😀

Best part was meeting knitstagram friends in real life @frederique_knits @noted_knits @olgasowncraft1 @ballyhourafibres @republic_of_yarnia @fineleaffibres @the_spinning_webb @ruthmcourt and @d15knits 🥰 I was so excited I forgot to take my phone out of my pocket to take photos, next time more pics!

There were so many that I didn't get to say hi 👋🏼 to as I had limited time after my volunteering shift and when I got to walk around their stalls were so busy (always a good sign!)

And I had such a laugh with my partner on the Admissions desk am.court you're a hoot! I'm still chuckling at some of our jokes 😅

Thanks to everyone who came up to say hello, it was lovely meeting and chatting with you 🥰

Only a small haul from me this time as I had splurged on Swedish yarn the week before (3 jumpers worth... gulp) so I did well restraining myself 🤭

Very happy with my yarn purchases today 😃 I bought 2 jumpers worth! They had a lot of brands that I could get back home in Ireland but I wanted to get Swedish wool as a keepsake of my trip to Sweden 🇸🇪

1st yarn is Järbo Svensk Ull 3 Tr (3 ply), colourway 59016 "copper"
2nd yarn is Ullcentrum Öland 3 Tr (3 ply), colourway 6/3-0110 "Brown fine wool"

Sorry for the bad hotel room lighting and I had to speak low cos the hubby was in bed in the other room 😂

Legs are walked off me! 🫠 But a great day spent yarn shopping in Stockholm, with even a nice break to get some knitting in beside the water in the sun 🌞
